Yeah probably depends what her mental issues are, sometimes it's probably worth it as you may be walking in egg shells. I dated a girl once who had an eating disorder. I couldn't tolerate her spitting her food into napkins, put me off my food. She was actually interested in me but I ran away as fast...

Simply claiming you stop refugees or migrants with "dubious" backgrounds from entering the border is irrelevant since almost all terrorists in the past were living in the country they launched their attack in. And the thing is, the FBI has been saying the biggest terrorist threat to Ameri...

Landlords use inflation as an excuse for greed. It's not the gov that is keeping wages low, it's businesses. There is no law telling them how much to pay their employers, only minimum wage so businesses use it. They do but again rent is subject to market forces. A tenant has the option to move to a...

Why MLK? Could the government have been worried he'd be the first black president? I honestly don't know I thought they knew a 6-year-old living in Kenya was going to be the first black president. :D Jokes aside, I imagine Barak Snr as a boy in a thatched hut in Kenya sitting on a dirt floor tellin...

Well she called me this afternoon and said it wouldn’t be fair to continue the relationship because she has a lot going on that she needs help on, mental health issues etc. But she very much wants to be friends still. just be careful not to put all your eggs in one basket. I made that mistake and g...

@QFT No in terms of engagement I am simply talking about female attention (not whether it translates into friendship). I recall in highschool catching a bus and an absolutely stunning girl around my age starting talking to me. We continued talking on the bus but once I got off I never saw her again....

No, it's like living in a small town where the church controls everything, and constantly looking over your shoulder before you say anything the church might not approve of lest you be socially and professionally ostracized. While I had my restaurant open in Seattle, for example, I saw other local ...

I have been waiting for a couple of years for somebody giving me one example of how wokeism impacts on their personal lives? Diogenes.....lantern.... One time at my job, they wanted to do racial sensitivity training and in culture too. Oh no I am so oppressed, how dare they impose this onto us, wok...

Oswald and Sirhan Sirhan were almost certainly programmed. The family of MLK also think he was the victim of a deep state hit https://www.nytimes.com/1997/03/28/us/dr-king-s-son-says-family-believes-ray-is-innocent.html I've always thought that there were far too many moving pieces with either of t...

IWho will clean the floors and restrooms and empty the trashcans? Who will serve you coffee? Who will stock the shelves at the super market and who will do inventory to make sure they have enough supplies for people who will need it? Who will serve you your food if you want to eat at a Burger King?...

Like Lee Harvey and Jack Ruby? Paywall stopped me but I'll look it up. IIRC, there was something fishy at the time. I was glued to the news as a kid. I think both worked to expedite the change. Malcolm X showed the urgency while MLK preached the peaceful protest. MLK had the numbers and Malcolm X was hurt by the Nation of Islam. Did you know the investigation into Malcolm X's assassination has to be re-opened now https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/...

This seems to inextricably linked to your experiences with women rather than Kristallnacht? The way it relates to Kristallnacht is that this word triggers what is called "vivid memory" of that female student. Thinking vividly of that specific female student makes me miss it even more than...
