I find it strange that girls respond so strongly to Elsa. I feel that Anna is the star of the Frozen movies. I asked my daughter about it and she said she liked Elsa because she has magic powers. I posited that Anna was the better character because she gets stuff done without using magic powers, bu...

I think to be fair burgers are unhealthy if eaten in excess of how much you burn calories (like any other foods).

If you are not physically active then you increase your risk as you consume fast food.

Homemade Burgers can be healthy if you select appropriate ingredients. Not rocket science.

@Badrobot You have highlighted one of the issues I have with mods which is the deletion of discussion from threads. Often some effort goes into posts and its a little discouraging to see one's efforts removed, However I can also see the other side of the coin/flipside which is namely going off topic...

From the title, I presume it's about the Indo-European migrations?

i find it curious why comments about Trump are being cancelled as if we are no longer allowed to say anything about orange man? Isn't he likely to be contesting the 2024 elections? so MaxE has a right to make comments.

When person is professional and unbiased in their judgements, it means their motivation is true respect and true selflessness. If they use their position as means to obtain power to enforce their personal beliefs, show dishonesty and double standards, I refuse to give them respect and appreciation....

If you live a a suburb then it get slightly more nuanced. If you live in a working class neighborhood then people tend to be m...

I don't really get why there is so much talk about aba distinguishing ASD traits. You teach skills just like you teach any other kid, apart from the focus and how you break it down to smaller chunks. There is no part in our program that includes stopping autistic behaviour. It's not even aimed at b...

I always enjoyed watching young female characters coming of age in the adventure/fantasy/science fiction genre. It makes for a nice contrast to the usual prince or young male who becomes a prince or king which are of course fairy stories that hark back to the middle ages. Apart from Disney/Netflix p...
