Well, if raising the minimum wage is so bad, then how about the government compelling businesses to lower their prices? Especially when it comes to rent and housing, and medical care and medicine. Yeah they won't do that either. Lowering prices reduced profits and then....you know they lay off staff.

Yeah, I could see suing the "donor", but giving up the kid is like a psychopath move, I mean it's still your kid even if it doesn't have the "pedigree" that you thought you were getting. Remember these stories? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-59216104 https://www.thegua...

I think we’re all in agreement that the MIL having cancer sucks, but that’s not the main thing OP wants to talk about. Anyone should be able to see why he’s having a hard time and he has the right to divorce her if they are in disagreement on how the whole thing should’ve been handled. You all bera...

A lot of folks haven't seen the series so I'll not give much away (other than what's on the trailers) but 1. Morrison does look pretty old and watching him crawl out of the Sarlacc pit as an old dude is lame/inaccurate 2. It's fine Disney is involved but Kathleen Kennedy has spoiled the series in ep...

After deciding to use a sperm donor, they found a man in his 20s on social media who claimed to be a single Japanese man who graduated from Kyoto University, one of Japan’s top universities. After having sex with the donor 10 times, the woman finally became pregnant in June 2019. The woman eventuall...

According to some psychologists, men have significantly lower levels of prolactin (hormone related to emotional tears) as compared to women. There is also the cultural reason, that societal stereotypes discourage men to weep.

Probably a combination.

Hmmm interesting. According to this link it's attributed to an interview with an American newspaper and Queen Elizabeth's father George IV in an interview with the New York Times. https://www.oprahdaily.com/entertainment/a35725207/the-firm-royal-family-nickname-meaning-origins/ It's only a guess but...

I think you'll find 99% of the parents on WP are basically here for seeking information/knowledge/tips for their child and not for finding friends. I created a thread on the parent section of WP to help with non-verbal kids (my daughter was non-verbal). Yeah I couldn't get a diagnosis till my daught...

We've been so systematically dumbed down that our brains have turned to mush if this is what entertains us. Ever read Amusing Ourselves to Death ? It was written in the 80s, but reads like something from yesterday, you'd probably find it both interesting and terrifying if you haven't already read i...
