Autistic Pride Day is coming up - and I was wondering what I should do for it. I'd like to take all the NTs I know and introduce them to the whole concept of Neurodiversity, but I don't know how. A big party would attract them, I know, but that would repel autistics...is there some sort of middle gr...

Are there any autism magazines or ezines out there? I've been looking, and the closest I can find are health magazines with articles on autism.

I think most people have substituted drama for empathy. Perhaps without realizing it, what they're actually trying to do is make life interesting for them. I don't think people who read tabloids and watch soaps to replace something that's missing from their everyday life actually have an understandi...

I don't mind taking a shower, but if I ever go into a pool I have to wear a t-shirt. And I always wish that instead of swim shorts, I could wear swim pants.

it's up to you if you're cool or not, wether you're an aspie or a musician or whatever. But the word 'aspie' does not have to be synonymous with the word 'uncool'.

I think we should make a dating site for ourselves and our friends. Somewhere that people with BPD, ASD, bipolar, schizophrenia, AD(H)D or whatever can come and know they can meet people!! !! Is there anything like this already?

I would love to go to a pacific island and start a utopia; that way I wouldn't have to deal with anybody else unless I wanted to. Plus there would be monkeys and lots of fruit. But I wouldn't mind New Zealand either - I would watch LOTR again just for the scenery. Plus, it's probably one of the clea...

I'm an aspiring filmmaker, and a while ago I looked at a list of famous autistics and found that most them were writers, or mathmeticians. Am I the only autistic filmmaker out there?

I don't see my feelings as being abnormal, but there are times when I would like to be a little more socially acceptable - especially if I'm driving on the road, and I want to focus on driving defensively instead of making other people angry. Has anybody experimented with ways to control your emotio...

Does anybody know anything about autism and mood swings? I'm an aspie, and sometimes I switch between happy, excited, depressed, bored or whatever so quickly it makes my head spin. Almost as if I either have no control over what I feel or I'm too sensitive to the environment around me. What do you g...

What's up, y'all? I'm 20 years old, male, 5' 10", in Plano Texas. I have high-functioning asperger's, and am currently looking for someone. I don't know what else to say...I play the harp in my spare time, and I like to watch Shaw Brothers movies.
