I'd like to remind our members that linking to sites which violate the terms of service is not permitted. In addition using another member's account without his permission goes against common sense. WrongPlanet.net is a support site, not a vehicle to further an agenda, especially when that agenda i...

alex, a regular member can't delete a post after a reply has been made after their post. Nobody is deleting his or her own posts. PeterMacKenzie definitely didn't delete his own post because people replied to the thread after him, and then his post was deleted. PeterMacKenzie wasn't spamming; he was...

I'm a big Harry Potter fan. If anyone is interested, there are several old Harry Potter threads on this forum and the Art, Writing, and Music forum.

I have only pulled an all-nighter for partying, never for school. I just did Friday night with friends at a party. It was fun, but I felt like sh*t on Saturday.

Harry: Horcrux or not a horcrux? In the MoM, at the end of OotP, Voldemort possessed Harry but couldn't bear to remain for more than a moment. If the most powerful part of Voldemort couldn't stand to be in Harry how could a fraction of his soul? There are a lot of people in the HP fandom that think...

Now that we've discussed the 'Is Snape evil?/Did Dumbledore know he was going to die?' theory, let's discuss one of the other big ones... Harry: Horcrux or not a horcrux? I don't think that Harry is a horcrux, but I am thinking that his scar might be. I think that Voldemort made it accidently. To ma...

This is the funniest thing ever. Just try to say, 'Vice-President Dick Cheney shot a man in the face' without laughing or at least cracking a smile. It's impossible. The late night comedians had a blast with this one. From the Daily Show with Jon Stewart (not direct quotes, this is from memory): - '...

Where is Bec when you need her? I'm here! :) I'm excited about the Goblet of Fire DVD too! I'm sure you're all surprised about that. About the 7th book: Voldemort will definitely die, but I also think that Harry will die too. I don't think that Neville will kill Voldemort, but Neville will de...

I don't necessarily think it's a matter of becoming detached from popular culture. The Academy isn't about celebrating popular culture, it's about celebrating achievements in filmmaking. It's meant to honour art not box office success. Sometimes some of the films nominated are both popular and artis...

I think she'll be a good Luna. I don't think that Luna has AS, but I don't think that she is typical at all. Hermione (book Hermione, more than movie Hermione) seems to have more AS traits. Actually, quite a lot of characters in the series don't seem to be entirely NT. Also, from what I've observed ...
