There are many different types of NTs. You're just running into the wrong sort all the time. That colours your opinion, I believe. Ever thought about hunting for food, then using your Mousterian hand-axe to skin it? The ones i run into seem to be obsessed with their self esteem..i find it disturbin...

The article is rubbish. A mother who wants her child to know that she will always be there for him and tells him she loves him everyday compared to a father who told the child the mother had abandoned him and did not want him when that was not the case and was merely away visiting a friend as a matt...

If you are on the Autism Spectrum then of course people dislike you, we're the most annoying people on the planet. =( Oh, Hi ya and Welcome! btw. See that quote it is not a joke we really are very annoying to other people and it does not matter how hard you try that is just the way we are. OP at le...

Don't use the words weird or quirky.... If asked to describe myself these days I would say (referring to times when I am physically well and not bogged down by CFS type symptoms and sleep problems): Energetic, curious soul who loves to learn about anything and everything that fascinates me. Passiona...

Animals are more civilised. They are also more loving. They are snuggly, wuggly, squishy and cute. Smooshie critters that they often are with their big soppy animal 'please love me' eyes. Humans are just vile creatures that gossip, b***h, judge and are just down right nasty, they often have eyes tha...

And if anything it is NT people who lack understanding of social interaction... 1 They cant tell the difference between someone who is shy, someone who is quiet and someone who is being asocial or unfriendly. I can. I can spot a shy person a mile away...they will seem kind of awkward and reticent bu...

I don't see NT social skills as being superior. Let me explain... They gossip, argue, b***h, cause trouble, fake things, lie, misunderstand everything and generally lack logic. How is that having superior social skills exactly? They are also incapable of rational discussion of any kind. Its the majo...

NTs have been very nasty to me and I don't want to be a nasty person, so no I don't want to act like them. I don't want to be anything like them at all, I'd be ashamed of myself if I were. They are so vicious and refuse to accept any kind of difference. They are also incapable of showing any conside...

Well I was suppoed to be going for a formal diagnosis with the NHS but they have managed to lose half my paper work.

Thats the NHS for ya...next to bloody useless and more often than not, incapable of telling their arse from their elbow.

No as many people on the spectrum habour the same beliefs that drive the problems in NT society so it is not a matter of neurology unfortunately. Lack of world peace has to do with certain basic human traits and belief systems (or mass delusions as I call them as that is essentially what most belief...

As individuals, Aspies are part of the 'social world' as much as NTs are. It's as if this forum believes that NTs are not forced to 'fake it', and intentionally behave maliciously all the time. A world full of autistics would still involve heavy amounts of bullying and BS. The evidence is commonpla...

I don't either yet I scored 10/10 in the AQ10 test they did for my initial assessment. A score of 6/10 gets you sent for formal diagnosis. I maxed out. I don't feel autistic... I don't have as many routines as most autistics, I dislike change in some ways but love it in others (variety can be good) ...

I can enjoy teasing when it is done as a form of harmless fun. It is when spite is intended I don't like it or if it is done knowing it is hurting the other person involved. So it depends. Personally I can sometimes find it funny when I am not good at something, again it depends. There is really no ...

I'd rather be poor and be nothing like them. I am not waiting for one of the majority to give me job..I'll make my own job eventually. This society can stick its slavery to the majority up its own a***hole, if there is room up there what with all the ego that seems to have engulfed everyone. What a...

I don't do things to appear NT, so much as I do things to avoid drawing any undue attention to myself and keep some personal distance from people who might bother me or try to take advantage of me in some way. In that mode I may smile more than I normally would, stand up straighter, make eye contac...
