I agree. I can't say that I have an answer, but Facebook does come in handy. If you like or comment on someone's post, you stay on their radar with a minimum of effort on your part.

Pengu1n, I can definitely relate to your post. Most of my friends are NT and I tend to feel very left-behind in comparison to them. I feel bad about not having reached milestones that I don't even want to reach! (For instance, I compare myself to my married friends when I know that I don't want to b...

I don't think it's inevitable, but I also don't think it's uncommon. I had a major depressive episode 6 years ago, when I was 21, and have never fully recovered my pre-depression level of functionality. I think it's more than just depression though, because my functioning didn't improve with the dep...

If you're good at crafts, can you teach other people (who would pay you)?

I pass as NT, but I think part of that might be because most people think autism is a child rocking in a corner. I certainly don't feel NT.

I guess the main question is, are there jobs in Columbia that are relevant to your skills? And if not, are you able to go elsewhere to seek a job? If your vocal coach does get you, can you talk this over with them? All the actors and singers that I know also have "day jobs" doing unrelated things. S...

I voted "yes". Two awkward people don't cancel each other out, in my experience.

I know you're not looking to be a sex object, but pictures are still important. If you don't have a digital camera, try to find someone who does, and get them to take some pictures of you. I wouldn't recommend the zebra shirt, because it makes you look a lot younger than your age. As for actual con...

I had a radio show in college as well. I think I discovered more new music than the people listening did. It was hard for me to stick to one genre, but it was a good experience. Edited to say, I don't think I'd want to be a radio DJ professionally. You don't have much control over the music y...

Like others have said, I think you go into a bit too much detail. From your profile, you seem really passionate about your work, and like you'd be interesting to talk to, with good stories to tell. But it also seems like you're filming 24/7, and I wonder from your profile if you'd have time for a ro...

When I was a kid, I was terrified of the skins that cicadas would shed, which would then lie around outside. Maybe I would still be scared of them, although when I was 12, my family moved to a place that didn't have cicadas.
