No, a bull is not naturally that way. They are that way in rings because those bulls are selected for aggression (which is messed up) tormented, etc, until they get mad. Bulls who are kept by responsible cattlemen and are handled correctly (gently without having humanized the animal, so it knows it ...

Forum: Parents' Discussion   Topic: Games to spark imagination in AS kids?

The notion that aspies lack imagination is a misconception. I am and always have been extremely imaginative, but some games (social ones) seem stupid, boring, uninteresting, etc to me. Even as a child, they seemed terribly transparent and pointless. I mean, cars don't talk. Even a 5 year old knows t...

I don't think it is only AS men. Every man I have ever been involved with has complained that I do not talk enough. When I am upset, I get quiet. Being attacked or criticized for being quiet will only make me clam up even more. While I am quiet, I am brooding/obsessing/internalizing what I am upset ...

Your experience is different from mine. I haven't had anything like what you described. Instead, I am extremely sensitive to bright or flashing light, so much so that I usually just shut my eyes or move away from the source. I also experience "extra" visual stimuli, so that objects often appear to ...

What I hate is the part where other ladies say Hi and talk to you and you have no idea where you know them from. The whole game of smiling awkwardly, trying too place them, etc...is so agonizing.

The Miralax sounds like a good idea.

However, I think his underlying issue is control. He feels controlled and is exercisign control over one of teh few thjings you cannot force him to do. My suggestion is to open up areas for him to exercise free choice and control in other areas of his life.

That's bizarre and illogical. First, Obama is half black and hlaf white, so voting for him would be the absolute opposite of racist voting (by your definition of racist voting). Secondly, it implies that people vote based only on race, which is also highly flawed as Obama was the most qualified cand...

We're using the virtual academy thing. Public school, paid for, curriculum is all set up, they send you the computer, books, supplies...all you have to do is to make sure your kid does the work, and record the time he/she spends on school related activities.

Well, here's the way I see it. Elsewhere, women and even fairly young girls have their virginity sold off to strangers they've never met, but they don't get a cent of the money, their parents and brothers do. So I think this one is fairly intelligent. It also beats giving your virginity away for fre...

It's not right for the animals, it injures them, and in some cases, kills them. if they didnt like it they'd pull away, unless of course they are being raped Unless they are tied up like that goat was, and struggling in vain to get away. Believe me, even when they're having trouble birthing, most a...

Choose a speech based on your special interest. You will do fine. If you feel anxious beforehand, breathe slowly and deeply and picture something very calming and soothing, such as ocean waves lapping onto a beach. Lastly, prepare a good outline and practice saying your speech aloud at least 4-5 tim...

Hmmm. I didn't read the fetish thread. I have nothing against fetishes as nobody is hurt. Well, unless it's something like a fetish for biting off the other partner's genitals or something like that.

Declarative speech? *That's* what it means? For me, that stuff is the crap you have to wade through (or skip, in my opinion, in order to get to the interesting conversation. I am no good at all at declarative speech. I know that this is CAPD, that I have it. My BF gets irritated about it. I can't ch...

I don't think it should be done on people under 21 except for very necessary medical reasons. A unwahsed dong is and unwashed dong, cut or not. Just wash it, duh.
