They definitely did a better job in 2014 then with that 1998 POS. The real test we've all been waiting for is how will his supporting cast (Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah) be handled, and I'm looking forward to see how this upcoming film does the monster mashes. As far as a modern lone Godzilla film (with ...

Of the ones I've seen (haven't seen Jurassic World FK or most of the Transformers movies), I was really underwhelmed by Titanic and Avatar. I didn't see Titanic until years after it was in theaters and mainly saw it just to get all the pop culture references made about it. Aside from the spectacle a...

They sound interesting. Although I wish there was a solo option and you didn't need a team to participate.

The real problem isn't the notion that so-called "minor female heroes films" won't be accepted. The real problem is that Universal/Comcast own the rights to the Hulk and all related side characters, including She-Hulk, and they've been sitting on those rights not making any movies/shows fo...

Didn't get to it in theaters, but rented it first chance I got. Holy sh*t was it good. If you could look past the chronological liberties and cliches they put in the movie, you were in for a great story with a great cast and great music. I was a Queen fan going into it (thanks, Wayne's World), but i...

Working on Far Cry New Dawn. I'm a sucker for that series. Any FPS that doesn't take itself too seriously is okay with me.

I suppose I should provide a little more detail on my job. We only have five full-time employees in the office not counting our field employees. My dad essentially bought the business in 2012 just so my uncle and I would have something to do professionally. His assistant is loaned out to us as one o...

I can do with or without them. Only time they might irk me is if there's no way to skip them.

Just started this game. Loved FC 3 & 4. Game's just as fun so far, but it's clearly in need of a patch or two since I keep running into bugs.

This game was absolutely incredible. Not only was it the first 3D Zelda game I've ever beaten, but I think it may be the first game where I willingly put off going to the last boss all because I didn't want the game to end.

I didn't know where else to talk about this (my parents are out of the country and my co-workers are no help). Earlier in the year, I made a decision to go to Tokyo next January for about 10 days. Being a fan of videogames and anime, it's a place I've always wanted to visit (plus there's a really bi...

I've been reading up a lot recently on DOS-Box and other emulators. I've been on the fence of getting a Retropie and a recent trip to a convention piqued my interest. I'm still trying to figure out how much of a learning curve I would be facing in regards to loading ROMs, especially on a 5-year old ...

Got all the towers but one, and have all the runes unlocked. I made an attempt at Divine Beast Ruta, but couldn't get past the ice blocks part. Then I saw a video on YouTube where the guy used the Cryo rune on them instead of arrows, and I kind of was like "Ohhhhhh...."

Still chipping away at this mountain of a game. I have the runes and the glider and have unlocked two towers/maps so far. Still a ways off from going after the divine beasts, but I'm still enjoying the game. My main focus right now are the shrines, the towers, and when I'm lucky the seeds that expan...

Given that I haven't yet gotten to Witcher (2 or 3) or Horizon Zero Dawn yet and that I'm more of a 2D Zelda guy, this game has just been everything I've hoped for and then some. First off, I knew Nintendo needed a big hit just to stay in the console business, and it definitely looks like this is it...

This is why I keep a good supply of old school games and systems on standby for just such an occasion. Either that, or I'll just watch Doctor Who on my laptop while it screwing around with the update.
