I thought she was in the 90's movies with Christina Ricci. Possibly in some of the comics too.

Mostly my mother. She is very soft spoken and tends to mumble. I think I have auditory processing disorder because I can hear just fine, I just can't make out what people are saying. English is my first language but sometimes it feels like people are speaking gibberish or another language when they ...

I wet the bed until I was 13. I think it had a lot to due with stress. I was bullied all the time in school and never really adjusted to my niece living with my parents. After I was homeschooled and my niece moved in with her father and step mother, then I stopped wetting. My parents were told to t...

I was homeschooled with Columbine happened but had I been in a public school, I would have been suspected of planning a school shooting. If I had stayed in public school and the bullying problem just continued to fester, I probably would have. Bullying situation was never resolved, my parents just p...

You could use this to teach colors.

"Oh look, China's flag is red and yellow!" "Ethiopia's flag is red, yellow and green". etc. A lot of African countries have a similar flag to Ethiopia. Red, yellow and green. You could use this to teach "same but different".

If that were my child, even an NT child, I would sue the daycare for that.

I didn't speak until I was around 5. I just repeated what I heard others saying and eventually learned how to use it to communicate. I always struggled with putting things in my own words. No one taught me I couldn't just copy word for word from the book when answering questions in school.

Anything in layers...regardless of how cold it is outside. Anything that squeezes. My mom had me convinced it was illegal for a woman to not wear a bra and as soon as I found out it wasn't, I quit wearing one. Supposedly I get a lot of weird looks from "creepy old men" but I got weird look...

No. I need my alone time and a child would not understand that. I know adults that don't. My special interests mean everything to me and I can't fathom putting them on hold for anything or anyone. Children are loud, messy and unpredictable. The biggest thing, I don't think I could bond with a child....

Hey, crypto zoology is one of my special interests and I will only date people who share my special interests. That's the ONLY thing I look for in a future partner.

I would have to say a bar. Intoxicated people don't always make the best decisions.

Employment and independent living are quite low among autistic people I strongly suspect these rates would be a lot higher if a more strengths-based approach to raising autistic children were standard, and if workplace accommodations for autistic people were more common (including accommodations in...
