First and foremost, you are not "just" anything.

You are you. You will work out/realise who that is in time.

At no point should you describe yourself as "just"....

"Depends" Mostly on how much you drink and how often. When I drink alcohol, it's nearly always by myself, simply because I live alone. I'll have a glass of something alcoholic every other evening, usually, and more on either Friday/Saturday (but not both). Do I occasionally have too much a...

'The right candidate with be willing to stick their neck out for this company. It's a position which is not for the faint of heart. You will be resilient and go above and beyond!' It's incredibly common for so many job adverts these days. They all sound like they want alpha type extroverts who will...

Now how do I come out to him? What should I say? At what moment? Is this even the right time at all? I have no clue how I should do this My family tends to bring their girlfriends/boyfriends to meet everyone all the time that's like a thing. Plus I don't want to hide it. I need to be proud of who I...

As others have said, it depends on the person. I have relatives who I only communicate with because they are a relative AND I'm doing so at the request of another close relative. (i.e. I wouldn't do so if not for the third person.) I have many relatives who I get on OK with for the short-ish times t...

I believe that most of the reason why Americans don't drive small cars is because [s]most Americans are taller than Europeans[/s]. Okay, bad example. But still, Americans are very comfort-focused. And we like cars high off the ground. I personally wouldn't mind driving a European car. Americans are...

Abstract. You and your family obviously need a large vehicle; I have no problem with those who do need them. I also appreciate that there is an element of 'want' rather than 'need' in many vehicle choices; I used to have an open top sports car in addition to my daily driver, but as you say, many SUV...

Good grief there's some 'interesting' stuff on this thread. Let's see 1) European cars are just as reliable as US cars. 2) European cars are more/less economical than their equivalent counterparts in the US. Once you take into account the differences required by the different laws, the different gal...

I've resigned my self to long term moderate depression. Where I live you actually get scored on a points sheet as to how depressed you are. Below a certain score, you're not serious enough to be treated at all, above that, you get treated. I got a counsellor who's only use to me was sounding off to ...

This would simply be cutting the extra fat off of society. There are 7 billion people on this planet. If a single one of them is incapable of productivity, or damaged in any way, would it not be proper to eliminate them? Consider that a large portion of human beings do not work, or are incapable of...

I have a great deal of difficulty in making proper friends. Slightly unusually perhaps, for someone with AS, I can sometimes go up and speak directly to someone without prompting and maintain a conversation in certain topic areas. This gives the impression that I have lots of 'mates'. But when it co...
