Thanks.
The colleague who put his foot down already said to both me and my boss that he won't be able to accept any new documents from me after the end of that day.
Also, I have started seeing a counsellor monthly for this and a few other things. |

How do you all cope when you submit a document and it's supposedly OK, then your boss and/or customer comes back and tell you to make more changes several times? I have had to make so many changes I am already overwhelmed. Now it's supposedly done, but the customer was talking about possibly making ... |

Comparing her to a celebrity (e.g. "You remind me of so-and-so"), because you may not know her opinion of said celebrity and whether she considers it a compliment. |

Is it the logistics of moving? Or missing your current place? (Not entirely sure of your situation so giving the reasons I might possibly fret if I were the one moving now.)
Glad to hear you will likely have a better life after the move. |

To skibum: We don't do hugs and stuff like that. One time I was made to shake my brother's hand to wish him a Happy New Year it felt very ticklish. Should it matter though that I asked him to go into the home bathroom with me when we were younger (pre puberty)? Please don't refuse to take a picture ... |

Me too, with a classmate.
I won't call this paranoia - I believe Temple Grandin said we have a special radar for seeking out people like ourselves. |

I have something like Asperger's and my brother has mild autism and I think they are different. I read adult books and YA fiction like Harry Potter, while my brother has never gone beyond children's books since he can't comprehend any fiction beyond that, though my mum tried to get him to borrow my ... |

I have posted about my relationship with my mildly autistic brother before and thankfully, I am now in a better state of mind compared to the time when I wrote that post. Now I want to talk specifically about how I am not comfortable about accidentally touching him. When I was 14-15 and my brother 1... |

My mum was saying that sending birthday messages in the morning is more sincere to show you took the time to remember. All very well if it's on a weekend and I feel free to post it immediately after seeing the Facebook reminder. But on a work day, if I am not free at lunch, I will only be free in th... |

Are parents in your area very demanding about how teachers treat their kids? I used to teach elementary school kids (up to 12, though if any of my kids had wanted me as their tutor into secondary school I would be OK). But I decided not to do front-line teaching any more because some parents would b... |

Thanks for your replies. I think I need to give a few more details about the situation I will be facing. For discussion purpose I am going to say it's a cake party, something where everyone is probably getting their proper lunch elsewhere after that. (Though if it were a cake party I wouldn't start ... |

There's going to be an in-house party at work in a few weeks where the food is in a category I can't stomach (sorry for being vague, my company does not know I am something like an Aspie and I don't to out myself if anyone from there stumbles across this). Chances are that I may go down with my coll... |
