In some ways . I wonder if all these, sometime contradictory diagnostic traits and issues, are not like a form of MPD, where we keep trying to switch from one of our selves to the other to adapt to our changing external and internal environments . Tell me more about this. I'm not sure if I fully un...

I think I get why you might think it's stim, since it achieves some of the same goals as stimming...ie, stimulating yourself , self soothing yourself . I know it freaks a lot of people out...though it is perfectly except-able to hurt yourself if you become a boxer or wear a football helmet first . ...

I don't know how to respond since my usual interaction with humans is either to blurt out what is preoccupying my mind or to look for a question I can answer . I'm very rusty in people skills after years of staying away from them but .... That said, I appreciate your post because it feels comforting...

I appears that the organization that posted this is no longer up-dating ? I wonder if they became a new organization or just gave up ? Something similar happened to my sister after she attempted suicide . This was in US not NHS but she was put on about 10 different medications in the period of 2 wee...

I thought cold weather increased your metabolism because you use extra energy maintaining your body temperature ? I do hate hot weather because I sweat so much and hate feeling sticky but I wasn't like that as a kid so I don't think it's related to my Aspergers . I also have more rigid muslce tone a...

I really like the show . Of course Garys character is not going to represent every autistics experience or personality but I like him and see enough of my own quirks to at least feel like the writers of the show "get" more of who I am then the average TV show . He may offer comic relief for some peo...
