| I can read emotions. Strong emotions overwhelm me so I try to flee from the situation. It is my emotions that people find hard to read. |

| I find that I'm both impaired and anxious socially. I can only have an actual conversation with family I'm used to being around. Outside world overwhelms me and drives me insane through overloads. |

| I've trouble reading too. though not serious trouble it takes a lot of concentration and tracking text with fingers or a ruler to get through. If the content is absorbing however it is easier for me to read. People often comment " Viera are you trying to read the paper or are you actually reading?" ... |

| no one has it in my family but when i mentioned the same symptoms to my neurologist he sent me off for a brain scan to rule out epilepsy. I have to get my brain scanned tomorrow. |

| I scream and make a fuss if a person I know hugs me when I am stressed. If I know it is coming with a stranger or someone I am not used to hugging I can stay collected and sane otherwise I have a panic attack and the overload drives me insane but I try and calm down as fast as possible. |

I spoke to a neurologist and I think I should go back to him now. he was the one who identified my traits but I didn't go back to him. @MovieBuff333: no, not many people are aware of autism or the spectrum where I live. and my own parents keep dismissing the issue when I bring it up. ... |

| I have an urge to stick my hand under running water if the tap is open or when its raining. I love looking at it flowing on the glass doors and gushing on the roads and off the patios. It is very calming sort of reduces my anxiety. |
