I think also it's a macho thing. They want to appear macho in front of their buddies. God forbid they are quiet and sensitive! The worst thing a macho man can be! And groups of humans behave in ways they never would individually. They get carried away by the group vibe and go to extremes. De...

Why do NT Males Hoot Like Gibbons? I love the analogy lol My current roommates are the absolute worse, and this is one of many antisocial behaviors they engage in. I’m just curious to as why they feel the need to do this, it’s extremely obnoxious and not in the least bit entertaining. If you’ve eve...

Is this limited to NT males, or are just assuming that because it's not something you engage in? I grew up watching the fine programming on Fox, and therefore need to be reminded to refrain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJHoYKvaMP8 What these people are doing is far more aggressive than the chee...

Why do NT Males Hoot Like Gibbons? Why not?  A loud 'hoot' is one of the easiest noises to make.  Would you rather they sat still and silent like marble statues? Maybe because it serves no purpose and is EXTREMELY inconsiderate? And yes, I would rather they be silent, especially considering that it...

It’s absolutely not a red flag for autism, it’s just a common interest among children. It’s the intensity of an interest which is a symptom of ASD, not the subject.

Education is teaching people truth and how to find truth. Brainwashing isn’t a real thing, but I guess it could be considered teaching people falsehoods.

By the way, back in the days when I had a Facebook account, over 10 years ago, one of the things I didn't like about it was that I kept getting lots and lots of friend requests from total strangers, and I didn't find any way to set my account so that I could receive private messages, but NOT friend...

I was just looking at the CDC report found here and had to stop because it has such apparent issues. First they note their data is based entirely on 8 year olds with the justification that most children are identified - "information was collected on children who were 8 years old because previo...

Music is defined by repetition and variation, and getting the right balance sounds the best. This simply happens to be optimal mix for high level repetition and variation for most people. All it is is the pattern ABABCB. It establishes a pattern, repeats it once, introduces a variation near the end,...
