(How'd I miss this thread.) Nowadays, it'll be subjective since there's so many equally good choices for whatever you want it for. To me, you can't really go wrong with the Spyderco Delica, Endela or Endura (smallest to largest). The Salt 2 and Pacific Salt 2 are your Delica and Endura in highly sta...

Yeah.

Sadly, violence can find you no matter how peaceful you are, how much you try to avoid it.

What can I do? Move out? If there's no hope it'll get better... . There's probably social services in your area that can put you on the right track when it comes to finding housing if you have an autism label, which can greatly speed up the process and give you various allowances. Maybe also having...

Maybe he has his own disorder? From what you explain, it sounds like it. Never really cared about my father understanding or accepting me over here, just being kind, caring and/or loving. My father really wasn't there and was kinda sucky in many ways when it came to me as a child, but that didn't/do...

158 I tend to hover around that on the proper ones. The average of 101 for those that completed it sorta puts it "within reason" IMO. I did terrible at school, so it doesn't mean all that much on its own. My cognitive ability isn't all that great either (dementia tests always make me look ...

As objective as I can be: This individual received a score of 16 out of a possible 174 points. The Boldness Subscore is 8 The Meanness Subscore is 0 The Disinhibition Subscore is 8 This score places this individual in the 0 percentile on the TriPM. In other words, this individual’s score is higher t...

Probably most or close enough.

I'm below that line where I live. I have to be very frugal if I want to save money for emergencies. I'd qualify for a carer's allowance, but that's too much hassle to go through with.

I don't feel like I'm poverty-stricken, but apparently I am. :|

^ I seem to get by, I guess. I have to help someone more disabled than I am (I guess low-functioning fits). I try to keep on top of everything, which takes up most of my time and energy. The only thing I probably neglect is myself, but that might just be my personality in the end. Independent, but a...

"'Quoting speech text.'"

'Speech text.'

Maybe right. Maybe wrong. I dunno.

As others have mentioned, I only really make eye contact with people I'm comfortable with. Which is two people. I've been this way as far back as I can remember. I'll still often look entirely away from those I'm comfortable with when I'm talking, as eye contact or even just glancing in their direct...

"God" seems to prefer harming over healing as far as I can tell, but maybe that serves a purpose in and of itself. :| I guess suffering makes better people or something. That's what I like to tell myself anyway. There's usually not much help out there. We often have to rely on ourselves an...

Some large antique leather/boot sewing needles. Which are nowhere near as expensive as they sound, as there's nothing ornate about them (several dollars). Feels odd that things made in the early 1900s are antiques now.

Not much you can do outside of providing job placements, pensions or psychiatric for symptoms that do respond to treatment when it comes to high-functioning individuals. Housing too, I suppose. Universities will often have allowances now. The core deficits of autism are of those, they can't be fixed...

-10

(Not for me. Life can be so mean and cruel to the nicest of humans. Well, maybe you can add another -1 for my worry, because that's me.)
