A couple weeks ago I was at church with my family, and they were having some kind of meeting and everyone had to attend, even those who weren't involved in church budgeting matters or anything or cared about it (which I think was kind of rude in and of itself), and we were supposed to line up in two...

I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't seen very many Hitchcock films, but I did like "The Man Who Knew Too Much" and "The Night Train to Munich." I also remember seeing snippets of "The Birds" in my 9th grade English class.

I've donated blood about two or three times, as far as I can remember. It does hurt, and sometimes they have to search for just the right spot, but my experience has been that after you sign in, they try to get it done as quickly as possible, and they're very kind to you during the process - sometim...

I'm okay with touching as long as I either know about/expect it beforehand, or if I'm the one who initiates it. I also keep in mind that other people might feel the same way, so when I hold out my arms and ask a person, "Do you want a hug?" or "Are hugs okay?" I'm not being weird...

I LOVE listening to the same song(s) over and over! :) In the past, I've listened to different covers of the song "Come Go With Me" - first made popular by the Del Vikings. However, there have been multiple covers of the song by groups such as The Beach Boys, The FireBirds, and Dion and th...

During my next-to-last semester of college, I barely spoke at all....at least, it felt that way. My dad was beginning to experience moderate health issues, my stepmom kind of took everything over and assumed that I wasn't as affected or worried over it (I WAS worried, all the d@mn time, not that she...

Playing with stim toys (Tangle Jr, squishy fuzzy pink caterpillar thingy, microbead stress ball), looking at pictures of my favorite animated characters, stroking a stuffed animal, bouncing back and forth while sitting, rocking, bouncing my leg, tapping my foot, chewing, listening to music, etc.

It's thrilling! :) When I see something related to my special interests, I tend to make small happy noises like "yee!" or "yaaas!" wriggle all over and bounce up and down a little bit. When Finding Nemo came out in 2003 (one of the longest-enduring, most intense special interests...

I wish. Do you wish you did but feel you can't or are you prevented from having one (or something else altogether)? I had a stuffed Reveille (Texas A&M's mascot) until my brothers threw it out with most of Mom's stuff, since, according to them, it was filled with mouse droppings. I'm sorry. Did...

I was wondering, does biting nails until they bleed a type of stimming? I was also wondering if making a faint "hmph" sound is a type of stimming. These are things I like to do. It can be, although many people refer to it as a "harmful stim." It is nothing to be ashamed of or em...

I'm stimming with my Tangle Relax - it's like a Tangle Jr but covered in a nice-feeling rubbery texture with lil nubbins all over it. :) It's one of my favorite Tangles.
