Hi, Has anyone here ever converted to Judaism, or even another religion? I was raised Methodist (Christian), but have a strong interest in Judaism and feel that its belief system lines up much better with my own than Christianity did. I am very interested in the conversion process and might start it...

As someone diagnosed with HFA, college has been pretty hard, but it's gotten much better, especially this year. I joined the band, like I did in high school, and made friends through there. The only friends I have are in band, or my group of awesome artsy friends that I met because my friend told me...

I used to like parties, but don't particularly anymore. They're too loud and have too many people. I think my sensory issues have somehow actually gotten worse in the past few years (???) but anyways, I don't particularly enjoy them, especially the ones in college. A small get-together with family o...

There were a couple incidents in fifth grade during lunch time in which I had to pee Really badly, but didn't really know how to ask any of the lunch duty staff if I could get up and use the restroom (I don't think I even considered it), so I just ended up peeing my pants. I felt awful about it, bu...

I'm not, but I play the euphonium, so I can relate on it being difficult to find other people who play your instrument.

I'd definitely get a no-kill trap. Mice are too cute to kill. I'm the type of person that catches spiders in the house and lets them go outside. I have an issue with killing things, except stuff like mosquitoes and centipedes. Those can go to h*ll.

14, on the bus back from a marching band competition with my then-"boyfriend." Boyfriend in quotes because all we did was eat lunch together and hold hands sometimes and say we were dating.

Why do you think my avatar isn't showing up? The image is only 75 by 71 pixels. I can see everyone else's avatars, but not mine.

I think it's perfectly fine to like parties! As naturalplastic said, it's good that you have some NT abilities and are able to function in situations with lots of sensory input. I used to like parties! I think it's great that you've found something else you enjoy, Jen.

Has anyone else had an "accident" at a later age that is not due to a medical problem like a leaky bladder? I had one in ninth grade. Since I didn't really understand social conventions, I thought it was weird and uncool for other people to see you leave to go to the bathroom for some reas...

You can't be sure no girl will like you. I'm sure at least one will. When I was a freshman in high school, I thought no boy would like me because I was weird and had no social skills. In ninth grade, I had an accident (long story, but basically I thought people thought it was weird to leave to go to...

For me, my backpack goes literally everywhere with me, even to possibly inappropriate places. I rarely don't bring it somewhere. I get really uncomfortable without it. I almost always have a jacket as well, even when it's warm outside. It's like my security blanket, I guess.

What are y'all's thoughts on circle lenses? If you don't know, they're those big, round colored contacts that make you look like a doll. They're really popular in East Asia, specifically Korea and Japan. Here are some pictures: http://www.mookychick.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/circle-lenses-1.j...
