Yes.

I don't know if everyone feels the same way, but the truth is that I really don't need to talk to people. I'd happily not talk with people for the rest of my life.

Faith is illogical and religion makes no sense.

Dont take the drugs and find a different one. Also, report him for negligence. Also, set your gender as whatever feels more right. I'm sorry if there isn't simply an option to not set it.

@alecazam3567 uh, that sounds like it sucks for you. It sounds like your dad suffers from the same problem mine does. They project their own experiences and opinions about socialisation onto us. I believe most people find socialisation interesting and refreshing, whereas I find it irrelevant, boring...

Well I've been having trouble with my parents. With the accidental help of a doctor I was for other reasons, I managed to convince my parents I have what they think is "very mild Aspergers", something I now regret. I never used that phrase myself, and in reality its likely to be significantly more s...

Most people don't understand racism, myself included. I don't think its an autism thing.

I've yet to figure out why I'd want a relationship, so marriage is pretty much out of the question. And sex??? no way.

I can't lie. Literally, if I attempt to say something that is not true I cannot speak. I've never met anyone else, autistic or not, who is to this extreme. If you don't mind I'm curious to ask a question about this. Imagine a hypothetical test of your ability to tell a lie. You would know all about...

Stereotypically, people with ASDs can't lie. I doubt this is true, at least not for everyone. Speaking personally, I have a tendency towards telling the truth, but I can lie just as easily as I can tell the truth. This particular fact was mentioned to me during a drama course exercise in which I had...

Callista: I've never directly studied connotation in school, but it is generally implied in much of the literature analysis that I did do. However, I still don't really get how to apply it to tasting colours. To use your example, perhaps I might be able to associate the colour blue with the ocean if...

My first problem arose when one of the teachers tried to do a 'relaxing' 'visualisation' involving imagining things. And he started talking about making your breath coloured, and blowing across the english channel, which I believe is about 32 km across at it's shortest point. He also started talkin...

My first reaction to this is 'nah...' I am still debating to myself on whether I should face my fear by making eye contact with every stranger that passes by In my experience, at least, that sort of fear facing just makes things worse and never actually decreases one's fear because the reality is as...

I can sympathise with you regarding anxiety. I fell off my (motor)bike a few months ago, and I've only ridden it about ten times since then, amid constant anxiety. The only thing that really works for me in that situation is to kind of start noticing and processing every single detail I see around m...

But everyone else, who were presumably NT, seemed to get it. I know that a number of people here have that, but I'm not one of them. It seems unlikely that many people would have it.
