I was actually quite confused. I'm not a fast counter. I did 50 trials because I was so unnerved that it didn't stop.

73.47% correct; average time: 1,073.63 ms

veganism (again, I'm not sure this is a special interest, I've simply had to explain my diet to defensive meat-eaters too much and too often, so I now know a lot about it). I can definitely relate to that! I know far more than is necessary because everyone seems to question me endlessly about why I...

I got three or four trials wrong in a row.

Sometimes I was confused because the circles were larger, but less.

I don't think anyone would fake having aspergers, they may have their suspicions, but that doesn't mean they're faking it. It wouldn't make sense anyway. Because having Aspergers usually makes you stick out and get noticed by nasty people. I don't think anyone really believes that people fake Asper...

Music, art, and literature. I am on a constant search for beauty.

I was never scared of death, but always scared of dying.

I live for myself. At the moment, I find it really hard to do anything that I don't want to do. I'm working on that.

My obsessions change whenever there's a new opportunity. Sometimes I am obsessed with three things in a row. Each for... two weeks or so. And the next obsession can last a whole year. Or longer. My obsessions are usually related to music. And it's four years now that I am obsessed with films. So tha...

why are there idiots who think peopel woudl fake autism. Because it makes life easier for them. One girl even said that if Asperger's exist, everyone could be disabled. I was really close to... speaking my mind. And I rarely do that. On top of Asperger's, I also fake depression and social anxiety. ...

That's the vicious cycle of depression. Either people don't know how to deal with you or they're just annoyed by your apathy. Another common thing is that you - especially if you're female - are expected to act happy even if you're sad. If you don't do that, it's inappropriate. Because people are no...

I wondered that too. When I was a kid I was TERRIBLE in social situations and got in a lot of crap in school because of how odd I was. Now I can say I'm pretty "normal", as I have my own car and am going to college and later university. I'm only 19, but I feel as though I mostly "grew" out of Asper...

Today I planned on going to the office hour of a subject I might start at university when I finish my BA. The secretary even asked whether I had any questions and I said, "No". I even lied to my mother about it, saying I went there, but will go another time again.

Well, my mother has made me feel quite... embarrassed often enough. Because of the way I dress, etc. A girl once told me I come across as arrogant because I don't talk that much. Well, when I still talked more, people thought it was pointless. No winning there. Often it's the looks that people...

my brother is 28 and single(NT) and a couple of people have asked if he is gay(which he isn't). Some People seem to think "oh they must be gay" when they are not in a relationship by a certain age. I always found this odd. And it's so discriminatory. It always sounds like an insult to me. As soon a...

I don't really use Facebook to share what I do during the day. And I could never become addicted to it. It's quite boring, actually. I mainly use Facebook to post random things every now and then and communicate with friends.

I thought about getting off Facebook, but I'm undecided about that.

I've been planning to clean my room for a week. Maybe I'll get something done tomorrow. If my mood allows me to.

It's mostly psychological. I have a lot of time on my hands, but keep putting it off. I don't feel like it most of the time,

This is appropriate. The last two weeks I've been listening almost exclusively to Chopin and other classical music. I sometimes feel like exploring new grounds and then I easily become obsessed. I should add: Before these two weeks I didn't listen to classical music at all. It's my latest obsession ...

So, I know a large number of fellow Aspies on this site have IQs in the gifted/genius range. What does this mean to you? I recently had my psych give me my results and tell me how proud of myself I should be. In fact, I felt the opposite. So I can quickly put coloured blocks together, or use my wor...
