Barnes And Noble. Usually has nice young ladies working, in fact one time I went to the help desk to find a book about the overdiagnosis of ADD and a girl working the counter must have had ADD because she was really interested in me but I was too shy to flirt with her. Not saying that is going to ha...

Philosophically speaking, I'd rather date a female Aspie! :P

I'm beginning to feel the same way. Every time, it always fails for the same reasons, NT females treat me as if I'm an NT and it falls apart, because we both confuse the *(&* out of each other.

I haven't been to this particular forum enough to form a solid opinion, but I see absolutely no reason why advice from aspie females couldn't be as valuable as advice from NT females.

Are you lonely? Yep Do you constantly think about being with someone? Most of the time Do you sometimes go out of your way to find people like you? Not really, but I come here mostly to validate my existence, so I suppose it is true to an extent Do you think, that when you find someone you fancy, or...

I am scared of dating as motherly words haunt me to the point of crying out for my mom and seem to be imprinted on certain girls I know as mother figures for the safety I feel around them. I crave being held just once, am I ill or "bad?" I think that is pretty normal. Dr. Tony Attwood said that asp...

I was going to mention redesigning the site along with making an investment in advertising, but I don't know if that would actually make a difference, seeing as how it would probably just maintain/worse the male/female ratio anyway.

That's an awesome story. Stuff like that gives me hope. Bonus points for falling in love on the first date, I don't believe in love at first sight but I'm open to being wrong (I feel a connection/comfort when I first meet somebody I eventually fall in love with, don't know if that counts or not lol)...

Some progress! I asked her if I could hold her hand at work, but when no one is watching. This is what she said: "I just don't want people talking about it at work. that will be ok about that." :D That's exactly how I am. In fact, one of the primary reasons workplace romance hasn't worked for me, i...

If it's any consolation, many millions of people will never accept themselves enough to fall in love. One thing that I've realized over the years is that you never find love, in fact, it finds you, when you are not looking for it. Also, on the topic of the idiots on facebook etc., usually those that...

It's hard to describe what part of Aspie behavior is attractive (to me). I like that my bf is so smart and has integrity. He is honest and I trust him. It's nice to know that he won't lie to me and he doesn't try to manipulate me. He's so different than NT men and that's why I'm with him. Do you ha...

Or maybe they're seen as the hero our broken society deserves, but not the one it wants right now. :P

yeah I found the search engine to be...unuseful overall. I had to search through all of the muck to find a few people in my general area, and what do you know - not active.

I think women are attracted to the simplicity that we represent. That doesn't mean that dating an NT female who is used to dealing with a-holes and is unaware of the underlying condition is anything short of the most frustrating thing on earth, as they only have the preset, "inside-the-box" dating t...

Chihuahuas are the most aggressive dog in existence. But the smallest dogs are always the most aggressive, and have the highest rate of biting people. So I would say by quantity, sociopaths probably more pitbulls than any other breed of dog, because pitbulls are good for intimidation, antisocial/fel...
