I'm a 16-year-old community college student, I've been a part time student for 1.5 years and have just started as a full time student. Recently, I've been having difficulty focusing on my studies. I spend my whole day procrastinating and as a result, my grades are suffering. In the past I've always ...

Same. It's almost always because I have stuff going through my head and want to have a conversation with myself.

You might want to try sweatpants or something like that. I have this pair that is like exercise pants but loose and comfortable and has an elastic waist. Those things often have the drawstrings you can just pull tight instead of a belt. Best of luck.

I recommend you get him velcro shoes and better fitting pants.

Could it be ADHD?

I don't know. When I was in school my teachers told me I probably had ADHD, then that I probably didn't, then I definitely did, then I didn't. It was very odd, but I don't think I have it. Generally, I have an average-good attention span. It's just the stimming.

Pretty much just what the title says. I can't stop pacing, and it keeps me from getting work done. I'm in college and have other commitments and really don't have the spare time. Since this is a common form of stimming, does anyone have experience with trying to/successfully getting rid of this habi...

And what if the computer routes your car the wrong way because you didn't put in the address right or didn't put in the town and state? It can also make you take longer routes to places. This will also increase bad driving because why learn if the computer does it for you? What if signal gets lost?...

Yeah, I'm certainly not saying that no person in history has completely made up being a victim of sexual assault, but this isn't a trend. More often than not the problem lies in a faulty investigation or no investigation at all. I think that if an allegation is made, it should be considered evidence...

If a self-driving car is known to be better at driving, thus causing fewer accidents and fewer deaths, would this be superior to having human drivers? I'd say yes, any thoughts?

I think that examination of victimhood rates in America show that there is a high level of sexual assault, harassment, and misconduct that takes place everywhere from college campuses to prison yards. My question is, is the best way to handle this to consider an allegation as proof of misconduct? I ...

In the past, I've had my hair dyed an assortment of non-natural colors--blue, purple, green, bright red--and I've been playing around with the idea of doing this again. I like the way unnatural hair dye looks, primarily I'm thinking about getting the top section of my hair dyed purple and the sides ...

If I were you I'd apologize, but also let your cousin know what they did wrong. Maybe something along the lines of "Hey, I'm really sorry I snapped at you this morning, I didn't mean to. I just really don't like the way being sprayed feels, please don't do that again" Or something along th...

The therapist I've been seeing since I was 13 (3 years) is retiring soon. She has offered to make a referral for me to another therapist. I started therapy as a requirement but have continued because I enjoy it. Although, I don't think I need it. I'm also leaving for college in a year so maybe it'd ...
