I love the darker forms of humor. Sarcasm, droll, black, dry, understatements, ironic, etc. I don't like the types of humor that involve stupidity, embarrassment, caricature, or vulgarity. Basically, I find a lot of British comedy hilarious (except Monty Python. They are confusing.) and most America... |

For what it's worth, I also thought the article was stupid.
Also, the Mother's Milk joke was funny! |

I pretty much only read sci-fi, fantasy, and non-fiction. I really dislike anything too scary or romantic. |

Sad that there aren't asexual and pansexual options on this poll. |

Not having a maternal might actually be a good thing in this over-populated world. Also, the stigma that you aren't a real woman unless you have children needs to die in a fire. |

Sometimes it can take years to ready yourself and heal enough for a new relationship. It took me 4. Good luck! |

If you aren't affected badly socially you probably aren't an aspie, but there is PDD-NOS and Non-verbal Learning disorder which are both kind of more high functioning then asperger's from what I understand... I could be wrong though, of course. |

Either route will be hard, but are you willing to stay with a man you aren't happy with for the sake of stability? Humans are clever creatures... regardless of being an Aspie or not, if you are as high functioning as you say, you will no doubt survive and also flourish! I'll try to explain what I me... |

I guess I've always taken the opposite route within reason. Dying my hair rainbow colors* and making no effort at all to follow most social norms have basically been my thing since I was a pre-teen. I was blessed to have a liberal mom that didn't really give a s**t about what was normal. *some might... |

I am a proud pansexual aspie. I have no idea if they are connected or not, but if someone tried to tell me that I am X because of Y, I'd also be very angry! |

There are also yoga balls that have sand in them so that they don't roll around. I bounce on mine when I need to. :D As for physical activity... how old is he? What is he interested in doing physically? If you can build on that you'd probably get the best exercise for him because he won't lose inter... |

Hi! I just got diagnosed too. It's odd that they said your language was very good (for an Aspie)... the woman that tested me didn't remark on that although I have a very large vocabulary and "amazing reading comprehension". Out of curiosity, are you bad at math? I've noticed that quite a few fellow ... |

I also have dyscalculia, so math is very hard for me. According to the psychologist who tested me dyscalculia is now known as Specific Learning Disability in Mathematics (SLD-Math). I've had trouble with math since I was very young, and actually dropped out of highschool because of it. I finally sav... |
