You have missed the point. No - I got the point entirely: namely your seemingly paper-thin faith which appears incapable of brooking even the slightest questioning without throwing you into a hissy fit...... If your beliefs are really that weak then you have my sincere pity - other people are more ... |

I am far too positive a person and am beginning to think I'm not an Aspie after all becasue so many posters seem so depressed on a few other threads Well, depression isn't really a part of Asperger's, as in a symptom; but the Aspie/world-at-large interactions do tend to cause a lot of depression in... |

First check private messages, then see if there's any discussion that would be useful/fun/etc. to participate in, then see if any information or thoughts can be offered which could be of use. So not here for "contacts" or "socializing" really. |

Oh please don't - you'd be so badly missed..... You have my sympathy. You're absolutely right, of course. How absolutely unspeakable it is of me to be expressing my puny opinions - please accept my unreserved apologies and assurance that I will never express an opinion here ever again unless you de... |

TAFKASH - go be bitter someplace else, okay? You don't really have an opinion about combining church and drama; you only have an opinion about christianity in general, and we all know what it is. You're only spoiling this thread for the people who care by repeating it. I'm seriously thinking of leav... |

Oh, yes yes!!
They could read the scripts from this book... These plays (they're radio plays) make the story very alive, and make it easier to see the big picture of what's going on. |

Whoa... dogma is bad? The real Jesus died on the cross because he was a militaristic freedom fighter who opposed the Romans. The biblical Jesus was a fabrication by the early Church to frankly make themselves a few bob, and to not p*ss off Romans in the process. He didn't die for anybody's sins but ... |

I get sooo tired of all the suggestions that thinking for oneself and believing in God are mutually exclusive... these seem to come from believers and unbelievers both, so that's one thing at least that they share. C. S. Lewis... G. K. Chesterton... Dorothy Sayers... Madeleine L'Engle... talk about ... |

Civet, Mockingbird, thanks. There may indeed be a bit more than giftedness and intellectual/emotional asynchronicity. (oh - people saying "the unattractive girl and the little boy aren't quite there ", or something.) About Charles Wallace: he's super-intelligent of course (which is not an indication... |
