What would she rather be doing than homework during the school year. She came up with 3 ideas (herb garden, writing and making jewelry) We worked with he...

You need to find out why they won't pay for college anymore. Are you not taking enough classes? Are your grades too low? Was the financial aid only for a specific amount of time?

I would strongly urge you to check into scholarships and grants also.

Hello all, I am looking for college students or recent graduates who are willing to take my 6 question survey. The questions come from parents of autistic high school students who are looking for advice from individuals who have lived the experience. The survey is anonymous and I will share the resu...

I am in the process of creating a short survey to get tips, ideas and input from autistic college students to help autistic high school students and their families get prepared. I will consolidate the i...

Does your school offer summer school options? My daughter was able to go, even though she didn't need the academic support, she did need the behavioral support.

There are a lot of schools that have support services specific to autistic students. I am currently working on a searchable database of these schools - I have a version available on my website but it doesn't have a lot of information yet. If you go to http://www.asd-dr.com and use Guest as the logi...

Thank you everyone for your help and insight. I feel much better now. We are just starting to look at colleges and are focusing on those with support services. We will just have to wait and see what we can get for financial aid etc.
