Books such as the Curious Incident of the Dog in the nighttime (mandatory reading at ALL schools in my area) really give a false idea of asperger syndrome/ autism. I'm considering going to the head of my English department in an attempt to get this book removed from the reading list at our school at... |

Is someone who made $50,000 a year made all of their income through capital gains, then they would pay a similar tax rate. Frankly, I think that capital gains should have a 0% tax rate. Romney already paid taxes on the money once through either income tax or inheritance tax, primarily the former. |

If I'm driving I feel an urge to brake hard, even if I'm driving below the speed limit. Otherwise, they don't bother me. |

I was curious to see if anyone else was embarrassed by some of the "negative" symptoms of Asperger such as a Lack of Social Interaction, eye contact, meltdowns, etc. and if you openly discuss these symptoms outside of WP. I find that I do not like to openly discus these shortcomings because of the n... |

romney arrogantly believes the election is already in the bag, so he doesn't even have to try to appeal to anybody but the hardcore tea party base who will come out in droves to vote for him. or at least that is what he thinks. but i'm afraid that he might've calculated correctly. I really don't be... |

Note to moderator: We need to create an official driving with AS guide. You should get comfortable with car control before you take it out on a public road. A disturbingly large portion of what is taught you in drivers Ed or in your six hour lesson is completely incorrect and makes driving much more... |

I'm 19 years old and I have never drinked a beer or any other alcoholic drink, just tasted it when I was like 10 years old but spitted it out after a first sip. I'm not sure if my problem is aspie related, because maybe the trauma at a childhood had a huge impact, seeing drunk dad was pretty bad ex... |

To OP: I think if you read into it a lot you will find it listed as a symptom in some places. That is if you intend "emotional breakdown" to mean the same thing as the commonly used word in the ASD community "meltdown". The subject of the post suggests you mean this. It's certainly not in the diagn... |

I was very surprised by Mr. Ryan but in a good way. I was hopping for Bobby Jindal but that is only because I didn't think of Mr. Ryan. I believe that Mr.Ryan is a very proactive person; a "go-getter" if you will. I agree with his solution to Medicare and his no non- sense approach to taxation; take... |
