She is an FB friend but she hasn't been on there much lately. She has been having car trouble, as in getting ripped off on a crappy used car and her husband has no way to work as they live out in the middle of nowhere. Which is why I don't see her IRL. I think she may be bipolar. Also, I believe mos...

I keep getting hurt in my sleep and waking up. Last night I got my leg wedged between the bed and the wall and bruised my knee. Night before last, I scraped my foot somehow. My husband has a bad back and our bed is hard as a rock, so I wake up with all sorts of dings and aches. :x

What do you mean by "go inside my head"? I tune things out and drift into fantasies when I feel stressed or anxious and I can't physically get away.

Last winter I tried to make myself fall asleep on the front porch in near freezing weather by taking a bunch of Benadryl and drinking wine. But the damn cold kept me awake and I just couldn't stand it. I have thought about trying it in the summer by sitting in a hot car and going to sleep.

I can write backwards in the frost on the windshield so that it's the right way around when you get in the car. Is that the same thing? I use my right hand both backwards and forwards. I can read upside down quite easily, too.

I had a huge record collection when I was a teenager but now it's only down to a few. and I inherited my mom's boxed sets of operas. Unfortunately, I have no way to play them.

VINCERA!! !! I loved Les Contes d' Hoffmann and Carmen as a child. I was obsessed with them, practically. I developed a fascination with the 18th century, especially clothes, from Hoffmann. Also Gilbert and Sullivan, especially the Pirates of Penzance. There was a movie of it made in the 70s with so...

I was not raised by wolves but I wasn't exactly "raised" by humans either. All I had was a mom and no father and my mom wasn't very social, so it was just the 2 of us. I had to go to after-school care and stuff like that until I was 9, then I just stayed by myself until mom got home.

Was this woman ever mean to you? Not exactly, but she is really bossy. I am going to hang onto the thingy for a while in hopes that my husband forgets I mentioned it. It is an antique set of rosary beads with a bakelite crucifix with Stanhope lenses in it. She said she was cleaning out her desk and...

I honestly don't know. I remember seeing reruns of the really old Candid Camera with Alan Funt. The funniest one was of a little old lady sweeping a busy sidewalk. When random cute men walked by, she'd smack them on the butt with the broom. I might do that anyway, camera or no, just cuz.

I used to think that milk would spoil in your stomach (but I had no problem with unmelted cheese* or ice cream).

*I had a thing about melted cheese for years and years after eating some burnt macaroni and cheese.

I used to be afraid of the idea of skeleton keys. I was very afraid of skeletons. I still kind of am, even though there was one in my 5th grade classroom that I used to pretend to dance with.

Thanks, y'all. What went around came around after all! Although the lady and I will never be best buds, she's not so bad after all. She gave it back to me at the end of the day and said that my honesty really made her day. She didn't know what the doohickey was herself when she put it in the box, so...
