You feel like a geek for posting one short, concise paragraph and theory after I filled a page? XD It has to be true that John must observe from a certain spot to make it look real, that much is a given. From that spot the camera shows us that John can see every bit of body language, even some of th... |

Going on the essentially right statement that each human has two of each chromosome, one from each parent, the genetic similarity between two sperm from the same person is 50% by random assortment. This estimate can be skewed by several factors, including homozygous DNA, recombination, mutation, and... |

Autistics aren't just less likely to lie than neurotypicals, they're completely incapable of it in all situations.
I'm totally serious.
See my solemn deadpan expression? Proof! |

Perhaps the issue is that health insurance is vanishingly unlikely to cover the cost of the evaluation? I know mine didn't, and that makes sense in terms of no demonstrable reduction in health care costs of the individual by diagnosis and "treatment." |

Thanks, you two! I admit that I'm irrationally pleased to get replies, and the fact that they are polite cursory welcomes does not diminish this.
I look forward to interacting with everyone in a more in-depth way in the future. |

From the wording of the original question I would say the genetic relationship would be between that of a full sibling and an identical twin: With an identical egg and different sperm the average expected genetic relationship would be 75% identical. I really doubt that this was the direction the ori... |

Hello! I was evaluated for, and diagnosed with, Asperger's about three months ago at age 37. It never would have occurred to me to seek an evaluation except that my 10-year-old son was identified as an Aspie first. I found my result quite puzzling and unsettling at the time. Since then I have done a... |

I apologize if I'm "beating a dead horse," but Season 2 was recently released in the US and so this is a rather fresh and fascinating topic for me. Dr. Watson's odd habit of searching for a radial pulse to determine if someone is dead has always bothered me. Checking the carotid artery instead is pa... |
