Got a link? Yes... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JAXRSOUC-w Two errors in my previous post...the clip is actually 30 minutes long and it's a Youtube video. I was thinking of another one - I've got lots of sound effects videos saved to my computer. I took the link from the video and converted it t...

I love them too. Recently I found a one hour audio clip of a rainstorm that I downloaded to my iPod to listen to when I'm getting overwhelmed. When I've got a song or tune stuck in my head, this helps drown out the noise.

For me, it's difficult to handle liquids because they fascinate me. So I do not get focused on what I'm doing. For example, I open the tap water and I get stuck doing nothing because of the flow. "and that's when I developed my drinking problem" classic. lol you mean alcohol ? [youtube]http://www.y...

I was just sitting out time at school. There were very few subjects that interested me and those that did were taught by people who should never have become teachers. My reports always used to say "bright but is easily distracted and shows little interest. must try harder" but failing to mention eve...

My mum completely rubbished the idea when I once told her I thought I might have AS, as did one of my best friends. My best mate from back in the day calls me a "massive OCD asperger's b*****d" when I insist on sorting stuff before we head out, jokingly I might add. It's not always easy to tell when...

I'm in a bit of a programming phase again, building up loads of overtime at work :) gonna have myself a long holiday at christmas I think. Other than that I'm doing an endocrinology experiment on myself at the moment. I'm using specific diet and exercise to boost my testosterone, growth hormone and ...

I used to hate them as a kid, but I really enjoy them nowadays. Only problem is that the storm we had on sunday brought a freak hailstorm with it and shredded half my garden. Nothing got completely trashed and it's all recovering now, but some of them looked in a pretty sorry state when it was over.

Also good for depression and loneliness are pets. Cats and dogs (for me especially cats) have been a constant source of succour when I'm down - a cat sat on my lap and purring always makes me feel a bit better. Dogs do it for me. They're so honest, transparent and affectionate. A dog's attitude to ...

Yes, and by different groups of people as well. My old housemates from back home used to call me "the sponge" because I had a habit of soaking up seemingly random information but they didn't think bad of me for it. They just thought it was funny. A friend in Switzerland always says I have phases of ...

carbohydrates in general make me fat for a start, so they're no good. I always feel my digestion and therefore my general mood is loads better if I've eaten more protein and fat, oil for the old machine :) That said, I really miss rice. Love that stuff. :( I doubt this has anything to do with AS, ho...

Like when carrying a bowl of soup, not even full to the brim, to my table I always seem to spill like half the soup no matter how slow or careful I walk. I also tend to spill anything I drink out of a cup a lot, and have to change my shirt often. This all sounds remarkably familiar. Occasionally yo...

First word at ten months maybe, first sentence of any kind was a mixture of English and German words. Taught myself to read both English and German by age four. When I was approaching five I started going to school, the first book they ever gave me to read was called "look". It had ten pages with pi...

Spicy food in general has become something of an addiction for me in the last ten years. I have a decent capacity for chillies these days and I enjoy Indian, Thai and Middle Eastern food in particular. I love pork, be it bacon, roasts, scratchings, pies, ham, ribs or whatever. Being British I also d...
