I've been in my current job as a software developer for 2 years now and I'm not sure why but in the last months my performance really has gone downhill apparently. I've been unfocused and making way more small errors than usual. Also oversights, like not reading things properly or finishing tasks. I...

A few nights ago was the first time I could remember my dream in quite a while. I dreamt I was in some sort of large hall with a bunch of people. It was a social, happy event. Suddenly someone checked their phone and said there was an official tsunami warning. I looked out of the window and there wa...

Oh yeah I do use noise cancelling headphones when it gets too bad. It helps a little bit but the guy is so shouty i can usually still understand what he's saying.

Long time no see! For the last month I rarely ever remembered my dreams, but tonight I got an interesting one. I dreamt that there was a public warning that my city would be attacked soon by a missile. I kept running back into my flat to gather important stuff. My house also looked completely differ...

I have the problem that my office is often mind-numbingly loud (in my opinion), but nobody except me really seems to care, to the point that I feel like I must be the crazy one, and I'm not even THAT noise sensitive for an aspie. Some days are ok, but on many other days, there’s basically nonstop lo...

Hi guys. I've been struggling with depression for almost two years now and right now it is pretty bad again. I should be doing work because I'm moving in a week, but I have basically 0 drive and just think 'why', 'what for' etc. It's pretty textbook: I am doing much less of the things that used to b...

Dreams (that I remember) have been very rare in the last year or so unfortunately. But a few days ago, I dreamt I was walking with my mother on the beach and she stepped into a group of snakes that bit her all over.

As I can only sleep with earplugs and sometimes wear them for a few hours during the day too, I'd be interested in the best earplugs you've ever used/any special recommendations. The problem is that if I really want silence and put them in pretty far, there's often a painful pressure on one spot, us...

I'm 25, and I've been independent and living on my own for 5 years.. ... and for the last month or so I've been INCREDIBLY homesick... I don't really understand it. I've known this city for 5 years and the first 3 years I was really, really happy and it definitely felt like my home. Then I moved int...

Hi people, this problem has been going on for about 1,5 years. I am not entirely sure why it started, but I think it was connected to leaving a job I liked a lot and moving somewhere else at the same time. It didn't start immediately, for about 3 months I was doing fine and got used to the new place...

Hi guys, I moved to a new flat about 13 months ago. It's still in the same city I lived in before, but another part, about 15 miles apart. Well the first 2-3 months were fine but then I suddenly started disliking it. I noticed more and more things I didn't like about this new area. Plus I had some o...

Hi, I've noticed for a while now that I am really sensitive to noise from my neighbours. Luckily I barely hear the people living above and next to me. BUT for example there must be somebody in another house or something who often listens to music in the evenings so loud that I can hear it in my flat...

Hi, I wonder if this is a common thing among us. I am a much more private person than almost anybody I know and I also need much more alone time and solitude, as well as peace and quiet. I live in a very large town, and although I live in a rather calm part of it, it still kinda makes me anxious and...
