(Ps 111:10; Prov 9:10) Of the many responses I considered to that thinly-veiled insult, I choose this one: [Citation] needed. Also, there's no need for quotes: I took the name from a fictiona...

...as fantastic and wild A mother made by her own child A hopeless babe who cried Was God Incarnate and man deified Because the fall did devastate Creator must now recreate So to take our sin Was made like us so we could be like him That is the Mystery More than you can see Give up on your ponderin...

I'm getting a little tired of all the blasphemy. That's all I want to say right now. I don't think it proves or conveys anything except what is in the hearts of those who speak it. That's the beauty of free speech, though, isn't it? Blasphemy is the beauty of free speech? Since you asked me, no, bl...

And if I use sarcasm, I'm just trying to be like Jesus. He slung the sideways phrases like the best of 'em, and He did it to make points that straight talk sometimes can't make. And you use sarcasm constantly, so double standard again. i forgot to address this, or maybe i missed it. so you a...

I'm sorry, but I still disagree with the promotion and praise of rape and racial killings in any song. That's where I stand on the matter. Wouldn't that be the same with the Bible though? It does promote violence, racially motivated murder and so on. I'm a hip hop fan and while songs that glorify v...

this is not actually true, and once again you are turning the debate personal - just like i pointed out in the other thread. you are going to want to work on that as it prevents you from properly addressing people's actual arguments because you are choosing to focus on them on a personal level. Oka...

Exactly what "scripture" would an atheist adhere too to become a "fundamentalist"? Ayn Rand? Karl Marx? Christopher Hitchens? Unless your trying to construct a joke you cant apply "fundamentlism" to atheism. Snapcap can't understand that atheism is a lack of belief- we've spent dozens of pages tryi...

are you calling a culture evil? or the people within a culture evil? or their actions evil? the music isn't taking any actions on its own, it is simply the way that some members of the culture advocate their cultural values. so i am not sure what you mean when you're saying that evil has no right t...

I hate to point this out - but you might want to consider exactly what part your own culture played in shaping theirs since yours happens to be the dominant culture, as well as to what extent it shaped it. Slavery Slavery in the U.S. ended a century and a half ago, and it was ended completely, and ...
