Posting anything that promotes hatred or harm is illegal at most and against most sites' TOS at least, so no, you're not going to see them on the net, that doesn't mean people don't think it and that doesn't even mean it's not out there even now. Just because you don't see "promotion of hatred or h...

It's no different with conspiracies about autistics being non-human in some way, people use said "theory" to dehumanize us and justify any negative emotion or action toward us, and it's because they're ignorant screws who believe some guy with a "theory" more than real, established fact. Do you hav...

I have read a bit of conspiracy theories and opinions regarding autism(mostly because I find these things highly amusing  ), and I have discovered that some people believe that we are either the result of humans being crossbread with dolphins, aliens doing trial and error experiments in creati...

My situation has improved; I've been able to socialise to some extent with coworkers at my old job and I'm much more aware of things. What I lack is more opportunities and exposure than social skills, and also self-confidence as a result of bullying from high school. BTW, if you don't like my opinio...

To be fair, I did take classes outside of computer science (mostly poli sci, but also Russian). Far more females in those programs, and people were more likely to talk too. I even got to talk to a few of them, but was too focused on my work and wasn't socially aware enough. So many wasted opportunit...

28 here. Apparently a lot of girls look at me but I rarely get to speak to females. It's not easy given my male-dominated job either (programmer). A lot of girls look at you, but you rarely speak to them? Why are you not using the best of the advantageous situation (in comparison to that where you ...

28 here.

Dunno about others, but I think in my case it's more due to lacking opportunities. Apparently a lot of girls look at me but I rarely get to speak to females. It's not easy given my male-dominated job either (programmer).

Do autistic people have a different mental age?

I have both a high IQ and AS and my brain is very busy as well; it's rarely ever at rest. Apparently there are studies correlating stress with high IQ also.

I think where the AS part comes in is that you get addicted to those thoughts and you can't drop them.
