The script on the last line is not needed, it is inserted by godaddy to provide cpanel tracking.

I had no problem opening it with my browser or having Notepad++ run it after I saved a change. Outside of a Javascript and later a CSS class, I've never tried to run it from codepen.

This is the Roche solver I tweaked a few years ago: RocheSudoku I had to add a guess of 7 in the lower left corner for it to work. I started looking at this. It took me a few tries to figure out how to use it. I will make some usage notes here and then go back and look at the code. Thank you for yo...

COBOL was my number one language. IBM Assembler, C, and JavaScript also came in handy on the job or as a hobby.
Some of my code is here but take off the last slash and "programmer" to see the rest of it.

I'm on chess.com as well (wbport), but don't play games that often. On their five free rated puzzles, I got up to 2947 at one time. I used to play at a time control of 2/10, but since that isn't available on chess.com I do 5/5. Too many people just walk away from a lost game so I don't have to wait ...

Vote for one and one only is the worst possible system. With systems like Approval, STAR, or Ranked Choice, the voter can express preferences. In a Presidential Primary, if a candidate wants to vote against someone they think is polarizing and would lose, that voter could select everyone else. In an...

Pay attention to everyone with whom you may need to share your space and people traveling with you (other cars). Think like a chessplayer, "They just did that because of .... or in order to ...." and maybe turn on their turn signal for them <g>. Be prepared to switch lanes or at least slow...

I had wanted to be a programmer ever since I read a phamplet "Yes, No, One, Zero" while in elementary school and that was about my entire career. For years I was a contract musician when various churches needed an orchestra for Christmas, Easter, or presenting a major choral work--I had ta...

1) Quite a few posts have no interaction with anyone else. "I've whatever" with little mention of other posts.
2) So many members and topics it's hard to get into a specific thread, or find it after a day.

If you see that Ranked Choice Voting, Approval, or STAR is being proposed in your area, check it out. What most places have now, especially in crowded primaries, is "First Past The Post" (FPTP) where there is no way to vote against a specific candidate.
