I have had 3 but all were short lived and with long gaps between. Majority of my adulthood was single.

Age is what you make of it. I look better now than I did when I was 24. I feel better too honestly.

You have to have a sense of dark humor about age. We all grow old and die.

I considered myself mostly straight in my teen years but my same-sex attractions increased gradually into my early 20s, until they were equally strong. I've been openly bisexual since then. If you had told 13 year old me that my longest relationship would be with another guy, I'd never have believed...

I think a lot of us on the economic left resent the screechy tumblr types. I can't help but think the queer rights/women's rights movement have deliberately been commercialized and distorted in a way to make all of the left look as unpalatable as possible, so that the owners of society can keep all ...

I have always been very skeptical of the "extreme male brain" model for aspergers. Males with aspergers tend to act far more gender non-conforming than their peers. I've also noticed a high percentage of MTF transgendered individuals have ASD compared to the population and I can't help but...

We all have different ways of learning. One thing that worked really well for me was to find a system of openings that I could fall in love with. This helped me get better, and it made the task of learning openings fun instead of a boring slog. I increased my rating from 1150 to 1900 over five years...

Rivals of Aether

A retro-style fighting game with the speed, combos, and competitive spirit of Super Smash Bros Melee at its core, but a more forgiving learning curve for newcomers, and an all-anthro cast.

Big fan of the Genesis games. Haven't been such a fan of what happened since then. Generations looked interesting though.

Has anyone here played Freedom Planet?

I see sexual orientation as a continuum. In LA, gay seems to mean preferring to have sex with other men. To qualify as Texas gay, it would probably suffice to have sex with a man once. Those two definitions are not equally valid. The California one is closer to accurate--if you feel much stronger a...

I'm glad Wikileaks is posting stuff, but I wish they had published the DNC emails when it could've actually affected the outcome of the primary. Instead they hung onto that until after Clinton won the primary, almost as if to ensure it would hurt the democratic nominee, and not accidentally benefit ...

I've always been kind of timid on Grindr. Never actually gone on a date with anyone I've talked to on it, but I considered it a couple times. Too scared of disease I guess, so I stick to relationships or people I know and trust. If HIV/Hepatitis are ever cured I'll probably be a huge slut though.

It's very interesting to see so many people here saying they had paranoia and anxiety issues with weed. Is this a spectrum-related thing? I've had similar problems. I smoked weed socially a dozen or so times after college, at parties and hanging out with friends. Mostly I had great experiences with ...

We can't change what corporations do by voting. Corporations are totalitarian, unaccountable institutions. Yes we can and no they aren't. Corporations are bound to the will of the people. You want to control a corporation? Stop giving them your money, and let them know why. Give it to a better corp...

Most media skews Democrat or liberal, if you don't think you're being propagandized on CNN, MSNBC, or the NYT then I have some bad news for you. Salon the website you linked is one of the most ridiculous clickbait propaganda outlets there is. Salon is particularly damaging since they specialize in ...

24, and I definitely wish I had been able to start much sooner. Didn't enjoy being lonely in college at all.

I've done fine in the years since then, at least.
