It could be a focus thing--people can be distracting. It might be general poor focus, or you might just be distracted by only people, for the most part.
I'm mostly only able to focus on the computer when I'm alone, or even around most people other than my friend. |

Strangers are hard to make eye contact with.
People I know very well, it isn't as hard. |

I used to zone out more as a child than I do now. I even had an EEG when I was four. |

I'd only pursue involuntarily taking away your sons' self-guardianship rights if there was trouble surrounding legal contracts. The problem isn't legal contracts. The problem is bed availability. Getting guardianship over him isn't going to magically make a bed available in a psych hospital. You mig... |

You don't need to battle depression alone. You can talk on WP or a suicide crisis line if you need to. |

- I don't have a head for math. In fact I suck at math above algebra level. I love math when it comes to theory, but actually doing math and applying it? Yea no. Not everybody with autism is good with math. - No one in my family has autism or aspergers. That doesn't always matter. Autism genes don'... |

Hi. Even though you are a kid, you are welcome here! There's even a place here called "Kid's Crater" that you might like, but I notice that there's not a lot of posts there. |

You seem to be putting a lot of pressure on yourself to make friends, though. |

That, totally.
All because you need psychological services doesn't mean you can't work in psychological services. I'm tired of hearing things like "I'm bipolar, so I can't be a psychiatrist.". Uh, yes you can. |

Hello! It seems that though you may or may not have autism, you might have experiences relatable to a lot of people here. Sometimes, us auties (autistic people) call people like yourself ACs (or Autistic Cousins). There's a "Other Psychological Conditions" board that you can go to if you want to tal... |

Well, if you are sensitive or allergic to anything edible (or sometimes, even something not edible!), it can interfere with mentation. The thing is, what you're sensitive to, or even if you're sensitive to anything, is going to vary from person to person. |
