Since you're looking for a female-here I am, although I thought there were more, but I guess I was mistaken. |

I joined in 2012, but since then I've mostly just been lurking in the shadows around here. I've been trying to come to terms with my diagnosis for awhile, having been raised with and internalized the mindset that I could "beat" it if I tried hard enough. I have mostly refused all the accom... |

I dunno if you're still looking for replies to this thread, but I live in North Florida, and I am close in age. (Younger, though.) |

I don't hate my own race, (I am black) but I do hate the mindset that typically precedes the way other black people sometimes treat me. The way that you behaves, what food or music you like, or the way you speak does not determine your race. Your skin color, physical features and lineage determines ... |

I have the same problem. I want to be a hermit and live in a treehouse in the midst of some woods, but I know that's impractical. There is a way to build a treehouse so that the tree doesn't destroy it, but I don't know how to build anything, much less a proper treehouse. |

I think we are just like everyone else in that we are different. Some people have audio overload issues, some stim, some info dump, and some don't. It depends on who you are. |

I'm not saying I think kissing is wrong. I don't. It's just thinking about any kind of physical contact beyond cuddling feels weird. And even that's iffy. I do want a relationship, though. Why? I don't want to be alone for the rest of my life. As much as being alone is my comfort zone, it's already ... |

I plan on getting married one day. I know that God has someone out for me and I'm pretty impatient to meet him. But I have a problem. I may or may not be asexual? I don't mind the idea of dating, or being close to whoever it is that I will love, but kissing? Sex? Children? I want to be comfortable w... |

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has been through this. I have picked up social skills from being in public school, but I don't act "black" enough for anyone, not even my family. They seem to think the best way to "help" me change is to pick at me. But they actually love me, school was way worse. W... |

I was treated badly through most of public school because I didn't/don't act "black" enough for them. I was the weird girl. I was the class joke.
So I would say yes. |
