I got up to E3 of that. It definitely improved. E3 was the best yet. I laughed several times, and whether or not it makes me laugh is quite a stringent test for a comedy show. He's got no compassion at all has he? Except for the dead cat in the road, and life taught him that was a mistake. He is se...

When President Kennedy was assassinated, the assassination coverage was on tv that entire weekend. For an elementary school kid, there was nothing on at all -- just useless news coverage. Except on Saturday night, one channel actually showed a movie. I watched it and had no idea what the movie was....

What did you think of it? I have not seen it, however, it was referenced in episode 2 of Wonderfalls. So I've always been curious about it.

One more about Norman McLaren https://youtu.be/7BeCPbNZ74s?si=UN2xC80S3p2fXSCv I've given myself a stern talking to about posting so many videos about one topic. This one contains footage from his film Hen Hop . My one time wife checked out the 16mm film from the library many times in the 1980s. It ...

Rifftrax Swing Parade of 1946 (1946) The movie was selected at random. I enjoyed it. I think it would have been entertaining without the Rifftrax commentary. The most surprising part was when three guys are in the kitchen, reading newspapers, and the boss knocks all there newspapers out of their ha...

That sounds wonderfully nerdy, a TV show about putting together an Airfix model. I think that is what I like about James May. Of the three presenters on Top Gear, he was the "nerdy" one. Some of it was for show, but I've watched enough videos of him to realize he is actually really like t...

James May's Planet Gin Episode 32 - James May Makes Lucy Build an Airfix Model March 26, 2025 This has been in my "queue" to watch for the last two weeks (the month of May). It is just over thirty-three minutes and thirty seconds in length, and I questioned if I would be interested. It tu...

Why did they fire him? Honestly, I'm not 100% sure. It may have had something to do with him punching (I think) the producer. I'm researching it now. I am curious too. ... Found it. In 2015, the BBC elected not to renew Clarkson's contract after he assaulted a Top Gear producer while filming on loc...
