Something must be wrong with me, because I've enjoyed all of the Fantastic Four films, plus the cartoon that was on decades ago. In the sixties, my older brother had Fantastic Four comic books and I use to look at the pictures. I've always like Johnny the Human Torch and The Thing. For whatever reas...

My mom watched the original series, so I watched the first few seasons too.
My sons have never watched it, to my knowledge, but they read the books in school. The books sound like they were a bit different.
I'm curious what the new series will be like? The old series, or the books?

Elsbeth streamed on Paramount+ Season 2 (2025) episode 11 - Tiny Town I enjoyed this episode. There is a witness to the crime. He is a Scottish gentleman, Angus, in Scotland, and he sees most of the crime through an art installation called Iris. It is a television and camera so the tiny town in Sco...

The Wolfman (2025 remake of the film of the same name directed by Lee Whannel with Chris Abbott and Julie Garner in the lead parts.) What did you think? Despite its flaws, it had good performances and it was a bloody film as expected. In fact, I had to look away at some parts where it got "too...

The Monster of Phantom Lake: The Musical!

This is a recording of a play/musical based on the movie The Monster of Phantom Lake.
It was inventive, and very enjoyable.
It was directed by Michael Cook, who has been in several of the Mihmiverse films so far.

Demon with the Atomic Brain ((2017) Another film by Richard Mihm. I admire how he is building on the techniques and tricks, both new and previously used. I didn't mention it, but he use had some very decent model animation in one (maybe two??) of the previous films. It shows up again in this film.

Weresquito: Nazi Hunter (2016) I love that title. I enjoyed the movie too. One thing I enjoyed about the opening moments was it looks like it was filmed with something like a Tri-X film stock (lowlight fast film resulting in a grainy image), but I know Christopher R. Mihm shoots his movies in digit...

True.
I could relate because there are times when I am precise and organized and I straighten things up. I walk through the grocery store, and sometimes I straighten up a self a goods. Then I go into my bedroom and it is chaos. Or my computer area, chaos!
