I was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome when I was 8 years old. This was around the time that Asperger’s Syndrome began to be acknowledged as a recognised condition in the U.K.. I was told that I had it by my parents and the psychiatrist who diagnosed me shortly afterwards. Prior to my diagnosis, I...

I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine, Joe. If you’re under 40, you’ll be offered the Pfizer or possibly Moderna vaccine as there are no known links to blood clots post-jab as there have been for the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine. You’ll most likely have a sore arm for a couple of days and maybe some achiness...

Neither. I use a scented balm instead.

Thanks for posting this. You’ve pretty much described how I’ve found “adulthood” so far. I really could not have put it better myself.

...and thank you too for saying so, I was beginning to think I was the only one :D

No problem. It’s reassuring that there are others like me out there.

Half of me feels like an adult, I can pay bills, I can generally keep on top of things, find my way to fixing adult life stuff if it goes a bit wrong, that sort of thing. Functionally, in that sense, I feel like I'm mature and independent enough to get by. The other half of me is still a late teena...

I am interested in travel and I have visited countries like Germany, Spain, Italy and the USA over the past decade. In more recent years and especially since the pandemic started, I’ve become more aware of the environmental impact that international travel has especially to long-haul destinations an...

I certainly won't be visiting any shops just yet. Not until I've had my first dose of the vaccine and even then, I'll probably wait a while longer before I start going into shops again. Until then, I'll just continue to shop online as I have done since the first lockdown was declared.

I'm not currently working at the moment but I'm a qualified archivist and records manager with several years of experience working in that profession. I'm hoping to start a new job in the next few months.

You could always press the mute button on your remote while the adverts are on so you don't hear anything that might annoy you. I do this frequently when I'm watching something. You could also go and make a cup of tea or do something else during an ad break.

I would not want to start my whole life over again but I would go back to a few earlier points in my life and make some different choices. For example, I wish I had done a bit better at school and university. I would never have been a straight A student but I could have managed a few more B and C gr...

If it was me, I'd choose either option 4 or 5 and, if pressed, would probably lean more towards option 4. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I'd buy a house in the part of London where I currently live and spend most of my time indulging in my cultural interests. I'd also travel to all the places in the UK and other European countries that I've wanted to go to but haven't managed to visit yet.
