More than once, I see a cute girl pass by as I walk around, and they smile as we pass by. Okay, there are women probably triple my age who do that (prob just to be friendly) but I am probably sure some of the girls do this to show genuine interest.... (right?) I think it's rather disappointing espec...

Am I the only one who thinks that the 'we didn't have enough chili' remark was a poor attempt at a white lie given at a rather innapropriate situation? Pretty sure there's a reason why he was about to take the nachoes away from me. o__O

I think I am on to something... I ate lunch at a Denny's restaurant earlier today and tried ordering a nacho burger of sorts. I got some nachoes instead of a burger with nacho ingredients, and let the waiter know that 'he may have gotten my order wrong'. He said that there was not enough chili to ma...

Yes, I have an annoying pacing habit that's probably one of those weird symptoms of having Asperger's. I think it's the fact that I get bored enough I wanna do something... I just realized I got up off my seat to wander around again when my hamster wheel computer was chugging along. Coincidence? :ro...

So, I don't have a proper 'job' or a super -focused career direction but I do make pocket money via commissions for game assets for indie games. The money I get at this rate is okay (getting shafted by foreign labor #firstworldproblems), the only thing supporting me is that I still live with my pare...

DeviantART is fun. It's a good starting point for hobbyists who wants a wee bit of exposure. However, more serious artists will eventually want to branch out to other places that isn't viewed as a social networking place. Whatever. It's still a very lax site and you can always find a niche to have s...

Hi I took my aspie son to a funeral mass at a church. We didn't know the people but we sat in the back and observed. We discussed grief, appropriate clothing and most importantly hugging. We discussed how "greetings" hugs are shorter in duration and "grief" hugs are longer. We listened to people ve...

L4mia, Piwoman offers good advice, which I don't find condescending in any way. The analogy for our social deficits that I find fits best would be to imagine having to think about everything we do when we walk, such as putting our feet one in front of the other while maintaining balance, avoiding o...

Well... the 'helpful hint' remark sounded condescending, but what do I know?

I'll see what the book can do for me.

So recently, I have a goal of not being socially ret*d for a change. If people pick up social skills from others, I thought... oh, why not just observe people? I went to a place that sold bubble tea and that I thought that place was fairly good, and I learned a bit. I think I may have more adventure...
