My history class taught us to do our own research and to question to motivations of every source rather than just teaching us that "this happened and then this happened..." I prefer this approach. You can't just teach history as a collection of facts because all of history, both ancient an...

I didn't plan for my life at your age (except for my plan to do nothing) but my life turned out ok in the end.

I understand the sadness of a restaurant where you had some happy memories closing down. It's like a new era replacing an old one that you are attached to.
Yes a new era replacing the old one that I'm attached too. The sad thing is, they might not even redevop the night. They might just leave the same building abandoned and decaying as they have done with other restaurants in SA.

Does what you said mean non-sit-down or non-buffet Pizza Huts are still around in SA?
Scores of them. But they just feel like a shadow of their former selves. They're not restuarants, they're takeaways. Even McDonald's gives you a place to sit.

Pizza Hut sucks anyways. Not quite as bad as Little Caesars, but it's still garbage pizza. For chain stores, the best one we have here is Panago (formerly known as Panagopoulas) - way better quality.
I'm sure they're nice but I'm no more likely to find a Panago in SA then I am to find a Tim Hortons.

Sorry but you need Amazon Prime to access that perk.

The last sit-down pizza hut buffet in the state is closing in less than 36 hours. I had many happy childhood memories from there so I wanted to go. I called on Friday to make a reservation. Booked out until close. We drove there on Saturday. It's on the other side of town but Jane and I drove there....

This reminds me of that scene in Monty Python and the Meaning of Life in which Arthur Jarrett, convicted criminal is allowed to choose the manner of his own execution.

It's on Youtube (two minute video) but I won't link it here due to nudity (I'm surprised they got away with posting that on Youtube).

So when will they decide the death penalty is wrong? If life is so sacred, why does the prison system get to murder?

They won't due to conservative hypocrisy. Also because it was never about life.

All this could be solved by allowing trans people to transition before puberty. The same people who want to keep trans people out of sport are the same who would cry bloody murder if a prepubescent trans child were allowed access to hormone blockers. Knowingly or unknowingly, their double combinatio...
