One of my parent's favourite songs is a Jim Reeve's rendition of the song "Rose in Spanish Harlem". When I was older I felt the song was a bit racist on two levels. Firstly stipulating it was Spanish Harlem (not Harlem) so that the girl was identified as Spanish (not black). But secondly ...

I lurked during the assessment process and joined the day I got my diagnosis. Back then I had no idea that WP accepts undiagnosed people, and is a great resource for those that suspect autism. I had been on a couple of other forums but never had any desire to join a support group. I joined out of cu...

It is not just Portland. This is happening all over the country. What I do not get is except for a few outliers since 9/11 people have accepted if not embraced all sorts of government intrusions from pat downs to get on airplanes and attend events, to having most our moves recorded on cameras, to lo...

If this occurs that would be two election cycles Trump’s mouth cost the Republicans control of congress. Not that he gives a s**t. What he should give a s**t about is if the Democrats keep c...

Joe Biden Is Not Jimmy Carter, and This Is Not the 1970s There’s a long-standing tradition among conservative pols and gabbers to compare every Democratic president to Jimmy Carter. I'm saying I suspect they let it happen.
