Does anyone else struggle with feeling asexual at times? If so, how did you explain and/or work this out with your partner? I also keep hoping I was misdiagnosed because I keep worrying that I'm going to suddenly develop epilepsy mid-life. It's why I'm scared to drive. They often associate autism with epilepsy and I read somewhere that people with autism have a higher risk of developing epilepsy even if they never did b...

Oh. There has been one wonderful benefit from my formal diagnosis. Now, whenever my bride bumps into one of my Autistic traits, I get to say; "I have a doctor's note for that!" She's not as amused by that as I am! :D :D :D :D :D My wife has apparently assumed I was autistic ...

I recently did the AQ, EQ, SQ and RAADS-R tests, and scored high in the “autistic” range (129 on the RAADS-R, apparently neurotypicals don’t score higher than 64) on all of them. I’m here because of that. How important is it to get a formal diagnosis? I’m 69 and retired. I don’t think it’s importan...

what do I do? I don't want to be alone forever Hey girl! First of all: you're 18 years old, which is a fantastic age to go and explore who you are. What are your values, your wishes, your boundaries, etc? You seem to already know what kind of relationship you don't want, which is great. Don't feel ...

Interestingly in much of Europe people seem to have stopped bothering with marriage but are still forming families and raising children. I don't really see the same trend happening in the US. Here people still get excited about the idea of getting married. There are probably a thousand reasons for t...
