It takes a simple majority to pass bills, once it’s placed before the full House/Senate for consideration. There is a decent system in the UK, whereby people who are not "academically-inclined" could go to trade schools and that ilk, and get qualifications that carry as much weight as the qualifications for the "academically-inclined."

I get chafing; it's definitely not "yeast."

It's because of the combination of the fabric of underwear and sweat irritating the chafed area.

There are, of course, cases where yeast or fungus could be the cause of it.

To override a veto, there must be a 2/3's majority for the override. In other words, 67 Senators must vote for the override, and 291 members of the House of Representative must vote for the override.

It's way more complex than that....

The main problem with welfare is that it could become a "way of life" for people who are actually capable of working.

Welfare is needed when people are down on their luck---but incentive to work is also needed for those who are capable of working.
