I don't understand any of the arguments being lobbed at me during the last few posts. I just don't understand the mindset. It just doesn't compute.

I guess I'm done here.

Too many people want to have political discussions in a,vacuum, I guess, analyzing one symptom of the problem. Anybody wishing to expand the conversation is derailing the thread. Such rigid thinking.

Thread derailment! You need to stick to the topic and pick one.

My pick would be DeSantis. Don't like either, but that would be my choice.

I used to believe there was hope for the U.S., but no longer do. The system is in a state of collapse that cannot be reversed unless there is a massive awakening of the people to stop shoring up a system that doesn't work for them. It cannot be reformed at this point, only completely destroyed. Per...

I'm not much for nationalism or patriotism at this point, and haven't been for years. It's just glorified tribalism, which just divides us and is responsible for most of the s**t in this world.

Make America great again is a stock political term that has been used by multiple presidents in the past. Trump was just the first one to make it a movement and stick on merchandise.

Then what? Die feeling accomplished. Really? We'll still have the same corrupt corporate state that made it possible for Trump to rise to power. That sounds like a fairly small accomplishment. Maybe to you, but it seems a fairly significant accomplishment to me if someone’s able to keep that orange...

/\I know, I live in the woods and see the life and death drama around me everyday. Only humans kill out of hate and malice.Other creatures do it to survive, protect their young, for food.We do it for no good reason. I'm pretty sure there are predators that hunt just for the sake of hunting even if ...

Yeah, FactCheck.org is pretty biased toward the Democratic party. Nothing to see there.

I saw how the media ignored Sanders in 2016 and elevated Trump. It was pretty damn obvious what they were up to.

There is a significant group of people on the Left (at least I consider them to be on the Left whether or not they see themselves that way) who are convinced that Sanders was denied the nomination in 2016 and 2020 by some sort of conspiracy indistinguishable to me from what Trump supporters call th...

I feel like the most likely replacement in the event of a contested convention would probably have been a different former VP - Joe Biden. We already know he’s more popular with Democrats than Sanders, and more popular with Americans than Trump. Of course 2016 was not 2020. Hillary and Biden are th...
