I dispute the percentages you quote; that doesn't ring true with what I see around me, and I live in an area with a very high ASD cluster. I would also suggest you are taking things way, way too far even hinting that use of sperm with a known disability could ever approach child abuse. The odds are...

So are you suggesting every couple desiring children which includes an autistic male is "insane"? You're throwing quite a few people under the bus. Including some who don't even know that they would qualify as autistic.. Not really. I'm merely presenting likely perceptions NTs have. Asper...

I had a friend who taught junior-high school classes for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. In the second year of his tenure, budgeting caused the school (or district) to combine the students with all the disabled students. My friend saw the social cohesion of his classes deteriorate. Several all b...

Hello, i am new here on the forum, NT mum with a 14 years old Aspie boy. I need to explain: we are Italians, and until a few years ago very few physicists actually knew about the syndrome and still most don''t. The same with teachers. I always knew (or suspected) my little boy was on the spectrum, ...

My son is 2 years old and were in the process of picking a CPSE school in NYC (3-5 years old). A lot of the schools make an observation session which is meant to assess which classroom to assign them to. It seems that the whole point is to exclude problematic or low functioning kids entirely from t...

I was never allowed to go to prom. If you weren't working you arse off, in my parents opinion, you were automatically assumed to be making trouble. Besides, according to the kirchenordnung in the church I grew up in (one step above the Southern-Fried Baptists) Dancing and lewd music were instrument...

like a lot of people i love tits and a rather petite (not stick-thin) figure. Natural preferred, as I have kind of a mental problem with people i know having had or getting such surgery. I see it as quite vain and i hate vanity. This is all surface stuff though. I like my women slightly tomboyish (...
