I'm quite a bit younger and I also feel similarly. Most of the people I hang with at college have their own places, live away from home, work, study, et all, yet I can barely juggle exercise, 12 credits, and a part time job. I wish I could get my stuff together like they do. Also, due to my inexper... |

I took it for a brief time a few years ago. It nipped the anxiety nicely, but I had to take it at bedtime. Once I took it with breakfast and had to guzzle coffee to stay awake at work. Only happened once! |

But it really isn't an issue. ...At this point, many would argue for reform, but I wish to hear something that is not labyrinthine in explanation, a simple yet profound argument. Ok. Are these simple enough? Being a bully is bad for your health: study Bullies, victims more likely to consider suicide |

This machine-like obsessive knowledge of information and the gathering of it is the primary talent of the current Aspie, only the data is restricted to a single subject. There are exceptions with Gates, Einstein, and Jefferson, but they were rare exceptions. There is nothing that convinces me that ... |

Well, it worked for Connie Chung, not so much for Katie Couric.
I don't know if replacing the current robots with androids would be an improvement, but it shouldn't get any worse. |

It depends on how it's presented. A logical explanation is easy to work with. A threat based on untrue assertions tees me off. I can handle a criticism between below that extreme, but for the threat I end up demanding an explanation. I never get one, just more threats. The best answer for those is t... |

The resume can use a little work. I reformatted it a bit for your review. I spelled all city and state names and fleshed out the summaries and skills. The phone numbers aren't needed on a resume. They'll go on the job application. I keep my contact data on a separate sheet. I also listed the jobs fr... |

Heck, yeah. Sometimes it feels like everything is closing in on you at once. Sleep is good, like punching your reset button. If you're not sleeping well, I've had good results with taking melatonin before bedtime. Don't worry about posting too many problems. That's what this site is all about. Besid... |

MissPickwickian has already asked that we don't turn this into a political argument, guys. The gun-control argument can be done in another thread. Let's leave this thread to help her cope with losing her friends, ok? |

Police have to ask about possible drug or alcohol use in any arrest for a disturbance. If you were stoned, you would need a few hours in lockup to recover. The way you sounded was a little rattled, which is expected in this case. You didn't smart off at anyone and you gave clear, intelligent answers... |

I don't know if you have restrictions on certain types of activities, but martial arts works for some people on here. Maybe you could try tennis, bowling, ping-pong, basketball, cycling, or swimming. |

It seems from so many indepandant sources, from the ancient myans, to merlin, to nostradamus, to an finacial data web crawler, there is going to be cataclymic event in 2012 thougths. I thought that, in the 90s, those same sources were cited for the end of the world in 2000. Maybe I'm wrong. I didn'... |

I saw "The Dark Knight" yesterday and was impressed. I went to an early afternoon (1:50 pm) matinee and there were less than 15 people there. If you're afraid of heights, be prepared to gasp HARD and often. Heath Ledger did a great job as the Joker, but I liked Jack Nicholson just as much. The makeu... |
