my dad turns 60 in a couple years and it does cross my mind. I dont know how my sister and i would cope with his death. We have had some close calls with him here and there. Neither one of us have a very close relationship with him. I have a sneaking suspicion that he might be aspie as well. He is t...

Rejection like that directed by a teacher towards a 5year old, AS or not is cruel and very ignorant. No five year old should be brought to the front of the class to be ridiculed and criticized. Was she hoping to shame him into good behavior? That is not even a good angle to take on discipline. Her m...

Y'know.... I've often thought that we Aspergians are maybe just here to serve as Ambassadors of a sort between the Full-Auts and the Neurotypicals... as we have somewhat of a half-understanding of each that the other will never be able to relate to. .
I agree as well. Aspies, in some way be ...

Sounds like you might have enough for some kind of legal pursuit. Call the ACLU... They love this kind of stuff. I am impressed with their efficiency in chastising new people. Only two days and the school psychologist is trying to pin you down with very little information on you at all. I thought ps...

Pleased to meet you, pastor jeff. I think an open environment for worship is essential. Not to mention a few open minds. Keep kids in for worship, then pray for them and send them to their own classrooms with their own lessons. I would love to compare notes with you about being an aspie believer, no...

I love the feeling of water against my body. I really should start swimming, again. I totally agree. I love to swim in the water. I like it clear and unoccupied. THat way i can skinny dip. I also like to feel things with my mouth and lip. Your most sensitive nerves are in the lip nerves.

The first and most important thing you should be doing is cutting out the processed food. That's all soda, and most things from packets - no additives, colours, preservatives, sweeteners (even though it's bad and needs to be limited, sugar is ALWAYS best unless you have stevia on hand), MSG, nitrat...

I'm not sure, but I am usually mistaken for a teenager, anywhere from 14 to 16 usually. I'm actually 26....I'm very petite (not even 5' tall), and I usually don't wear makeup....have my hair in a pony tail or messy bun, and I tend to dress more like a teenager I guess. Also I have braces (a random ...

hmm.. I dont know. I almost would suggest the opposite. It might be ok to show him around the new place he will be and tell him about when it will happen. That way he is part of the planning. I know that for me when i was a child, i liked to know ahead of time so that i could prepare. I liked to kno...

[ I'd love a 7 hour tattoo. The ones I've had nearly put me to sleep. After the initial scratchy feeling goes numb, it's just this vibrating feeling (for me anyhow) which I find calming and pleasant. Chalk it up to endorphins maybe? I dunno.
I would have to agree with that... I have two tatt...

There is a place in oklahoma countryside called 'dead woman's crossing.' It is an actual murder scene from the early 1900's. A woman by the name of Katie James was fleeing from her abusive husband. She had just given birth a short time before she and the baby were leaving. She trusted the wrong nann...
