Yes, I've done it to an extent--I don't try to be a specific person, but I steal bits of conversation, styles of talking, etc from all sorts of people.

I know exactly how you feel. Many counsellors either don't know or don't fully understand AS because it's still a relatively new disease. Just find another counsellor if this one doesn't work out, it happens. See if you can find someone who is more knowledgable in the field, and don't take comments ...

Hi Whisper, I have a degree in Theatre Design, maybe I can help. As a desiger, you shouldn't actually have to build the costumes yourself, unless you're working for a small company. But most designers (including set and lighting, which is what I did) spend most of their time alone working on the act...

Of course it's OK. But I wonder if this is a life-long thing. For the past five years at least, I've had absolutely no interest in sex at all, but when I was in my teens and early twenties I had quite a high sex drive and would masturbate often. But now I have absolutely no desire at all. I've heard...

It sounds like a popularity contest, you were probably the better person for the job.
People who make fun of others like that just need something to talk about, they are small-minded and have nothing better to do.

I think zer0netgain's response is very well written. When I think back at all the time I wasted just trying to be normal and fit in, whereas I could have been developing myself in other ways, it just makes me sick. I have 3 younger sisters, I would say all have a higher quality of life than me. For ...

No, I think most people enjoy discussing others behind their back, it's human nature. I actually love to hear other people's opinions about other people and compare them to mine.
You are a good person that you don't take part. It is kind of rude. But very common.

But you're not a stalker unless you're actually stalking her. And you don't have bad intentions, so I wouldn't feel bad about it.

because married couples fight all the time (apparently), so they think it's a funny comparison.

Focus on your strengths and passion rather than the socializing aspect. If you really want to do something, then you will find a way. But it sounds like you're not 100% sure what you want. Maybe try a career test or something. The myers-brigg test lists suggested careers for their 16 different perso...

If only they could harvest the plastic and recycle it... but I guess that would take too much effort. It would also need cooperation among different nations. There doesn't seem to be a solution, does there.

Sometimes I feel almost normal, but then I remember things that haunt me. One is how I sometimes feel intense dislike for people I barely know, or don't know at all. Like this one girl in college who was nice to me, but I would always glare at her and secretly hated her, and I don't even remember wh...
