I don't think a high sodium diet is necessarially a good idea....you need about 2 g of salt per day, but the average american consumes about 11 grams per day. Excess salt intake is really not good for a person, and it is a big factor in high blood pressure. If someone has really low blood pressure, ...

"you are screwed up" WHAT? he said this to you? I don't think it matters what your diagnosis is, if he said something like that he is NOT qualified to be helping anyone. Plus, isn't Aspergers a spectrum disorder? Wouldn't that mean that some people can have it less severely than others? Plus, having...

I think for a while I was quite bossy and unflexible, but as I got older I became very shy and passive, because I realized being bossy was mean to other people.

jjstar, i offered you hard data.....but i noticed you haven't emailed me yet for the article. apparently you don't want to see the hard data. anyways, i do think it is silly to keep arguing, if a person wants to believe one thing, they are certainly entitled to do so. but to say that the other point...

Of course modern medicine makes mistakes!! !! No system devised by humans could ever, ever be perfect! People die from medication errors all the time! It's terrible! doctors, nurses, phlebotomists, CNAs, hospital directors, everybody is trying to find ways to improve healthcare.....the system has lo...

This teacher sounds terrible. If your school has some type of program for those with disabilities, I think you should try to make use of it. I understand your not wanting to be labeled as "disabled," but what your professor made you do really was cruel. You obviously did the assignment, and you did ...

Okay, I feel like lately I've been posting defending vaccines and nothing else! Maybe it's a new obsession...... Anyways, I would like to make clear a difference between random internet websites claiming things, and usable research. You cannot believe everything you read! In order for a research stu...

I'm pretty sure I have aspergers, but I've never experienced anything as bad as the meltdowns you guys are describing. Sometimes I get really nervous/flustered/embarassed/upset, but it's never been that bad and I can always deal with it. I can't imagine having to deal with the stuff you guys are say...

Congrats on your 4.0!

I think #2 would be the most interesting. I do think it could be hard to find scholarly research on, but that's why it would be important to do that topic!

Yep, that sounds just like me too.............I either mumble, or talk too fast, or mix up words, or can't think of words. Half the time I try to say something, people say "what?" It gets even worse if I get nervous or flustered.
